shadeyinka:what's the difference between Nigeria constitution and political Sharia in the North?. Both are equally guilty. Stop derailing this thread. Thank you. Sharia in the North is not sharia of islam but political Sharia. Nigeria constitutional democracy is depacracy. Not democracy as practiced in modern world. So stop coming up with silly post. Besides, maybe you clowns should apply biblical laws too because I don't know why you guys run away from Mosaic laws?. The only 'law' you uphold is 10% tithe. Rubbish |

LACK OF TOLERATE IS THE ISSUE HERE. WEARING HIJAB SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM AT ALL IN FACT IT IS A PLUS FOR THE CHRISTAIN AS IT WILL GO DOWN THE HISTORY THAT THIS KIDS PASS THROUGH CHRISTAIN SCHOOLS AND OF COURSE THEY WILL ALSO LEARN ONE OR TWO THINGS ABOUT THE RELIGION. BUT ALAS THE MISOGYNIST MIND OF THE BLACK RACE WON'T ALLOW THEM TO SEE THE TRUTH. THE NUNS WEAR HIJAB WHY CAN'T GIRLS AND WOMEN WEAR IF THEY WISH TOO? ONCE THIS KIDS CONFORM TO WAERING SCHOOL UNIFORMS THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUE PUTTING ON A CAPS OR HIJABS. CHRISTAINITY IS ABOUT WEARING CLOTHES IN MODERATION COVERING YOUR BODY AND HEAD WHICH IS IMPLEMENTED IN THIS RELIGION IF THIS SCHOOL HAVE ANY OTHER ISSUE WITH THIS KIDS THEY SHOULD COME OUT AND SAY SO DON'T USE RELIGION AS A BAIT FOR YOUR HATRED NIGERIA AS A WHOLE AS BEING MISLEAD, MISTHOUGHT ABOUT CHRISTAINITY DO NOT BE DECEIVE MY BRETHREN LET LOVE ONE ANOTHER. |

compton11:Even Saudi Arabia says it's no longer important. It's not among the pillars of islam. You can now open your hair "Prince Mohammed said in 2018 that abayas aren’t mandatory under Saudi or Islamic law. " So why more islamic than the saudi. Christians should start enrolling their wards in islamic schools and should start insisting on christian fellowship, christian version of school uniforms, Compulsory CRK, compulsory School chapel and equal time for prayer. Likewise the traditionalist should also demand for their own shrine, clothing and prayer time within the school. Solves the whole issues. I can't public school all religions should be accorded same even in other religious schools. We would now see those that will shout more |

shadeyinka:You forgot to add that the church: 1. Pays tax on the buildings ( Grand rent) 2. Maintains the buildings 3. Appoints Board of Governors 4. Recommends principals So when was these schools taken over and the church would still be foolishly doing a lot to maintain the heritage? |

Onlyonebuhari:Whatever happens to the use of original designed unform that includes beret cap or custom made cap for the girls if it is about head covering. Islam just like noisy expressions |
| Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by Moblux(m): 8:37pm On Mar 27, 2021 |
mu2sa2:That is the problems of you guys about Christianity. If it is head covering must it be hijab? Why don't you propose gele? When these schools started, being mission schools, cap was part of the unform. So what is your argument about instructions for worship in 1 Corinthians? Talking about facing down to pray, that amused me. You know why? God is not confined by certain position to hear our prayers or accept our worship. Christianity existed for about 600 years before Islam. That is why Islam smuggled so many biblical accounts into Quran. |

chrisblack:which Saudi said that? and also what is the concern of Christianity about hijab? nigga worry about your own shi.t. chrisblack:abaya is not hijab stupid. abaya is like saudi culture that includes covering of head, what he meant is that u can wear any religious dress apart from abaya. chrisblack:nigga being more Islamic is how u fear Allah. chrisblack:those Islamic schools are already government owned. chrisblack:which version of uniform? ![]() . cherubim or celestial or Catholic one?chrisblack:that would be sweet ![]() ![]() chrisblack:which prayer is that. Christianity get time of prayers chrisblack:but it is only Christians version we should all followed in schools abi? Lord prayers and Christians songs in govt schools? chrisblack:so dumb hypocrite like u can talk. I went to government primary school. from Monday to Thursday,we always sing in Christian song and pray in Christian version. but now that Muslims want to liberate themselves, yall crying. |

Iegendhero:Did any of you consider the fact that once the school is returned to the missionaries, more than 60-70% of students will be forced to drop out from the school. The only reason why most students are their is because of the low fees, dat fee will significantly increase if it is returned, lot of innocent children will be affected. |
| Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by Moblux(m): 9:52pm On Mar 27, 2021 |
lahizak:That may not be true. The issue in Kwara state is quite peculiar. The christian missions maintain their schools by members money that is why these Muslims find them attractive. It is true the population of Muslim pupils/ students outweighs that of Christians in some of the schools affected. Go to the schools belonging to Islamic mission and see deplorable state in spite of successive government pumping money to maintain them and neglecting Christian mission schools. Christians who value quality education no matter how poor they are won't mind sending their children and wards to good school no matter the cost. |

Onlyonebuhari:That is not the point on a bigotry line. I said whatever happened to beret or the custom-made caps designed originally as uniform. I am sure hijab is like testing the waters. The boys will soon be demanding for white skull cap. Tomorrow is palm Sunday. I know some guys could be planning on how to attack the procession tomorrow. Those from Kwara know what is going on |

compton11:TUNISIA In Tunisia, Islam is the religion of 98% of the population, with the majority being Sunnis. In 1981 Tunisia banned women from wearing Islamic dress, including headscarves, in schools and State offices. The ban was largely ignored until 2006 when the government cracked down on those wearing the hijab in an attempt to deter extremism. TURKEY In Turkey 98% of the population is Muslim, restrictions on wearing the headscarf in State institutions were in place for decades but were relaxed last year to allow Turkish women who want to wear the hijab (the traditional Islamic headscarf covering the head and hair, but not the face) to civil service jobs and government offices. The ban was lifted to address concerns that the ban was discouraging women who wear it from seeking government jobs or higher education. MOROCCO In Morocco where 98% of the population is Muslim (mostly Sunni) there has been some restriction or discrimination against women who wear the hijab. The hijab in these cases is seen as a sign of political Islam or 'fundamentalism' against the secular government. SYRIA In Syria, 87% of the population are Muslim. Syria is a constitutional secular State and discourages the wearing of traditional hijab. Ghiyath Barakat, Syria's minister of higher education, announced that the government would ban students, teachers and staff from covering their faces at universities, stating that the veils ran counter to secular and academic principles of the country. Among the prohibited garments would be the niqab, but not the hijab or related garments that do not cover the entire face. GERMANY Wearing Muslim veils is not nationally outlawed in Germany but in 2003 the federal constitutional court ruled that state governments could impose such restrictions on school teachers. As a result half of Germany’s 16 state governments have since banned teachers from wearing Islamic veils and headscarves. The state of Hesse banned all civil servants from wearing headscarves or veils in 2011. Reasons cited for the bans range from social integration to road safety. Morroco. Hijab is banned More still dey poo.Are you more islamic than them. You ordinary black person .Do you known black person is synonymous with shatani in islam |

doxijaw:...but those Catholic Christians are friendly, non-violent and peaceful, they don't carry bombs under their covers. Maybe if you start adopting Catholic Christians covering styles, there won't be fear of looming bombing and terrorism. Muslims women have right to wear hijab, but do it in Muslim schools or government wholely established schools to avoid trouble. Where somebody right begins is where another one ends |

sreamsense:Christianity was very violent bro, they've just tonned it down because it's served it's purpose. I'm not sure why you'd equate a child in school and bomb's in the same context. Are we Arab suicide bombers? , we are brother's and sisters divided in faith. A Muslim is different from an extremist suicide bomber, why is this difficult to understand. The focus should be on what they're learning not their headties which is tantamount to their faith, they'll still be in uniform just with a scarf. Simple |

shadeyinka:what are you talking about?. Many private established Muslim missionary schools were taken by govt. So what are you talking about?. Muslim College ijebu ode was also taken in the 70s by govt. It was Muslim missionary school built in the 40s and founded in 1950. In 1970, govt took over the school. That was when govt took over many missionary schools till today. Muslim college ijebu ode is multi-religious school. Hijab is allowed and optional. Christian fellowship do their things. Muslims do their things and the school is still under govt So why is kwara christian missionary school different?. Govt is not stealing anything. Govt is regulating everything. Christians in kwara either abide by state law or get loss. |

Racoon:The hijab is not a strict religious law, if you ask these muslim girls they ll tell you they are happy to wear it. Every body should be judge base on their own deads, as long as they never force the Christians to wear one. |

Empiree:Get your facts right. Ogun State was created in 1976 while Kwara had been created 9 years earlier in 1967. Kwara State at the time ( including present Kogi and part of Niger States) had only three schools belonging to government out about 68 schools then. It was not a take over, it was partnership in which aid will be granted in 1972. The then military governor's speech is in the public domain in its original form/ format. Talking about Ijebu Ode could be different from talking about Kwara. Each state had its peculiar approach then. That why some states changed the names of the schools while some other did not. They have their reasons and intentions |
| Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by Moblux(m): 7:11am On Mar 28, 2021 |
YusufTheGreat:And nobody is forcing them to attend these schools. Unless you live in Kwara State that is when you will know the intentions of these muslims in Kwara State. What the Christians are resisting is beyond hijab. Why it is emotional for Christians is because some of these schools are located inside church compound. Can any Christian emblem be worn around any school located in a mosque compound in Ilorin? I doubt |

chrisblack:bring the reliable evidence where hijab is banned in Morocco. Christianity and lies ![]() well that is how y'all use to deceive gullible to your religion.burqa is different from hijab, burqa is more like a culture for deserters before Islam. there's nothing called Islamic dressing, dress modest and cover your unclothedness is what Islam is preaching unlike y'all that are wearing miniskirt and tight dress your joke Churches. chrisblack:and ? the same turkey that are turning the oldest Churches to mosques?? ![]() ![]() why u worry about it? can't u face your own issues in your christianity? chrisblack:evidence or shut up chrisblack:u are just dumb,i know u have been talking about niqob before. so how is niqob and hijab the same? chrisblack:Germany is majority Christian secular country, the place where pornography, half naked and homosexual are legalised,so pathetic. chrisblack:dumb nigga, which morroco ban hijab? how can they ban law of Allah and still be muslim? I say bring your reliable evidence where hijab is banned in morroco. chrisblack:have already told u boy, fearing of Allah is what make best muslim not but race or ethnic u stupid. did they banned Catholic veil too in those places?;DD And I expect isreal your most beloved country to ban it too ![]() and I expect u to tell your jew masters that veil should be banned especially haredi burqa. ![]() ![]() chrisblack:nigga ordinary black person? heheheehe wow so it has turned to race shit. Islamic history of prophet Muhammad(saw) is not complete without the inclusion of black people like bilal ibn rabah,a Ethiopian nilotic that first called to prayer,or summayah a black woman that was first murdered by pagans because he embraced Islam or saudat the second wife of prophet Muhammed(saw) or the people of Ethiopia that housed the companions of prophet Muhammed when they fled from mecca. even a black man adil alkalbani aka Obama of Saudi Arabia was crowned as imam of mecca before and more I'd coming. nigga u supposed to worry about how black priest was racially abuse in German church until he returned to Nigeria or how some white churches don't allow black people in their Churches. ![]() ![]() the pathetic is that all those that introduced Christianity to y'all are now legalising pornography, nudity and homosexuallity. ![]() ![]() chrisblack:which Quranic verses said that says black people are synonym to devil. so Christians Nigga is talking ![]() ![]() says by idiot that their own man god is always depict as white ![]() not only that,Angels are also depict as white but devil is depicted as dark skinned, even the Jesus picture u hanged in your house is depicted as Caucasian.all the good things in Christianity are depict as white peoplewhile bad are despict as black people. Prophet Muhammed (saw) said All humans are descended from Adam and Eve said prophet Muhammad in his last known public speech. “There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.” |

I don't know why poor people like formenting trouble. They have always been attending these schools without wearing Hijab and they didn't die. So what brought this new Hijab frenzy? |
| Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by capitalzero: 8:02am On Mar 28, 2021 |
Iegendhero:Muslims want more than Hijab. Hijab is just smokescreen. Churches and their members had invested much in those schools while many government schools are wasting away. Most mission schools in core north had their names changed to government schools. Legacies of churches in those schools were erased. Let government builds more schools to accommodate students from poor homes. They should return those schools to their owners. |
