Note: the Samsung Galaxy A52 here was the one I used for the water test last week. So here is the aftermath + full review of the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Make I start with the water test. First, the IP67 rating na true. The Galaxy A52 is Water resistant. Water can't damage it so far it doesn't stay under the water more than 30 minutes.

And just so you know, this is one smartphone I can easily recommend. The cameras are very good. It maintains your skin tone. The primary camera has an Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). OIS helps to take less blurry images. It improves your photography overall. Normally OIS is a camera feature only seen on flagship expensive phones. But na good thing say Samsung put am for the A52.

The 4,500mAh battery lasted me 7 hours screen on time (a full day). All the while I rocked 90Hz refresh rate. So if I had the settings put to 60Hz, the battery life go last more.

Remember too that Samsung is promising you 3 years major software update. So Android 12, 13 and 14 is sure for you.

Dont argue with what u dont know. My A51 will get 3 major update, all last year A lineup nd this year lineup will get 3 major update.

The 3 updates is official, infact, a51 is already getting the 3 updates, 11, 12, 13

Samsung self are not relaxing, unlike LG, Sony and Nokia that died out.

As for the 5g version, Poco F3 or Redmi K40 beats it hands down, all at a cheaper price.

This a52 has one of the best design I've seen in a mobile phone I'm considering getting it instead of note 10pro

The bottom bezel is very slim compared to other phones like xiaomi ,tecno and infinix
I'm using the A51 and will be upgrading soon by God's grace

Specs at low price is one thing, quality of those specs is another thing. A 48mp camera on a Redmi might not even come close in comparison with a 12mp camera in a Samsung or iPhone. Same goes for display quality. A 1080p 409ppi display on a Redmi, be it AMOLED or LCD, is nothin to right home about in terms of quality of display. in fact you you might even hate watching videos on the phone! Now, what really baffles me is that phones from some other OEMs, even with lesser specs, gives you so much more in terms of quality!

I am very conversant with mobile phones, i used Nokia 6.1 and later 6.1 plus. The bad thing is that over a year and a half Now, Nokia have not upgraded from 6.2 and 7.2 of 2019. They recently launched an overpriced 8.3.

I also have the problem of pricing with Nokia, their prices are always way too costly.

But no doubt, you will see the quality.

I'm currently using a Nokia, its now over three years, and its still strong,without no fault, i only changed the battery twice, because it got swelled up.
