Lol told you guys it's a waste of time. Everything in Nigeria is messed up. You need connections for anything. There's nothing like merits, it's just a sad situation.

Even to serve this country as a commissioned military officer you need connections. Just pathetic .

I think you're a very big fool. Go and ask around? Why should someone like me apply for a godforsaken army?

I'm talking based on facts so you shut up and listen to me. Is that clear?

The way things are going, soon people will be conscripted to join the Army. The morale is really dropping on every subsequent course. If it were in the "good old days", this place would have been agog with activities immediately they published the final list.

The Army should do better in social media management and emotional intelligence (especially as regards treatment of candidates during screening. This last screening left a lot to be desired).

Congratulations to our latest Cadets. We sincerely wish you all the very best in training and during the job.

Cheers guys!

She is not totally wrong

During my medicals, my BP measured 114/60 and yet i was screened out on grounds of high BP.

I just taya @Blueelf.
People go just Siddon deh assume.
Weh people Bp de read 200 and above sef and no review.

This thread is supposed to be a resource center but the manner in which people are assuming go make them taste similar faith.

Why una think say men lockup after the screening? Most of us were battling with post Falgore traumatic syndrome.

About 60 percent of the population were dropped on Bp issues without review.

A case study is that of the white horse from Yobe during SSC screening. The guy was diagnosed with HBp ( about 200 or so) yet in almost all the races they ran, he came first. How can a person with such Bp run 10km and about 60km cumulatively and still be alive. Guess what, he was dropped also due to HBp.

I personally know of a very fit intelligence non commissioned officer from my state, who was an instructor during the RRI screening at Falgore, yet the Baba was screened out for Bp.

No doubt destiny played a special role in everything, notwithstanding, almost the whole process was flawed.

Bro, it's not even wise arguing with people who weren't there.

Those BP readings were flawed and the officials knew this. However, they wanted to reduce population by all means necessary and couldn't think if another fair way of doing so.

It is quite painful. I spoke to a colonel about my experiences online and he was really saddened at what the NA has become.

Imagine people who didn't even write the exams being screened too. Some failed and yet they were allowed at the screening grounds because of 5G connection.

Baba, there's something seriously wrong with this country. The earlier our Leaders come to terms with this reality, the better.

Imagine someone like Major Adanu in the army. That man doesn't even look fit and yet I can imagine that someone fitter was dropped for him. That's Naija for you.

I mean, some recruitments should be sacred due to the sensitive nature of the job, yet the NA allowed politicians to bastardize their recruitment. Why won't we struggle with boko haram and iswap? Henceforth, I've lost all pity for our service chiefs since they know the right thing to do and have refused to do it. They have refused to recruit fairly, procure the right weapons etc and yet they are looking for sympathy from Nigerians. They don't deserve any.

Another funny thing about the BP machine, was that they had a good machine they used in reviewing some select people..
Crazy right I wonder if I am the only person that noticed. It was always with the Colonel or the civilian doctor.

Even when my guy reviewed his BP with the light skinned Captain, his BP was recorded. He had (120/87)

The use of bad bp machines was intentional.

You see, the NA needed to screen people out by any means necessary and ran out of ideas...hence their resort to chicanery.

They will reap what they sow.

Stop being bitter for no reasons, there was massive fowl play in that falgore,
But with that Bp, the Sgt checked me twice and the last one making it 3 times he asked me to breathe in then relax and he did it again and it was ok..

No wonder, how many people were checked 3 times or given the rare privilege given to you.
I was flagged for Bp also without any review.
It's a pity you feel a short changed candidate is bitter for no reason.

How una Dey nah!!!! It’s good that now most of us agree about how the system is flawed from recruitment to internal politics.. Give it your best if you still desire it and pray that luck smiles on you finally.. I have a friend that we started from 45 together.. 46 too but Lady Luck smiled on him for 47... if you desire it keep trying. You never can tell.
When I was complaining that it was bp for 46, many people here thought I had it.. they still issued me again sha but Gods will be done. If it your own it will never pass you by.. I wish you guys well moving forward...

Bro, please ignore certain comments

I don't even know any candidate whose bp was checked 3 times

When certain people are given privileges, they tend to take it for granted and look down on others who are not so lucky, hence his comments

Na mumu dey take army recruitment seriously. Politics over merits. E no worth am. In this country wey you dey, it's connections and politics over merits. Ordinary to get admission into university sef if you no push buttons or corruptly pay some folks in charge of admissions, na you and your God remain.
