We Need A Christian Radio Station In Nigeria by JohnNgene: 5:11pm On Mar 28, 2021
I got a revelation I think early this year about Nigeria:

NIGERIA STILL EXISTS AS ONE COUNTRY BECAUSE THE LORD WANTS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST TO REACH THE NORTH.

I was dumbfounded the day I received the revelation. Here we are faced with fears of the Islamization of Nigeria while the Lord has a grand plan of winning the North over to Himself.

The North seems obsessed with keeping ONE NIGERIA indivisible and it's unity non-negotiable. Little do they know that they are serving the Lord's grand plan. The irony of it would've been funny if not that I find it very confusing because Christians in Nigeria are being persecuted and killed yet the Lord wants to show love and mercy to their murderers. The Lord's ways are indeed mysterious.

In the light of the Lord's grand plan, I got an idea of a CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION.

I'm not talking about an online radio station o!

This radio station will air on the FM waveband like 96.9 Cool FM, Rhythm 93.7 FM amongst others.

It will be nondenominational. Catholics, Protestants, Adventists etc will be allowed to broadcast their programmes or activities.

It will be sited in at least four states in Nigeria.

Every programme aired on the radio station will be to glorify Christ and to preach the love of Christ.

Every song played on the radio station must be 100% Christian or gospel. Shakiti bobo, ukwu sarambara and other secular music will not be allowed.

I don't have the money to make this idea come to life. However, I believe that the Lord will touch the hearts of rich Christians to key into this vision and make it a reality.

We need a CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION in Nigeria to win more souls to Christ and the kingdom of God.

About a half of the country already pretends to follow the Christian faith yet look around and see if you can find the light of God, Jesus Christ Himself, shining in any direction you look in Nigeria. undecided

I want you to close your eyes and imagine a Nigeria without Christians or Christianity. Imagine Sharia being enforced in all of Nigeria. Imagine an Islamic Republic of Nigeria. Does it look like a country you'd like to be a citizen of?

I am not happy about Nigeria today and it is not because of the Islamics but because those who claim to be Christians don't exude Christ in most any way. undecided

Think carefully here.. there are at least 70 million Christians in that country, but have you ever seen the Light of Jesus Christ shinning from any corner of wherever it is you have been in Nigeria? undecided

If near none of the 70 million currently emit the light of Jesus Christ, do you think adding to their number is what is of importance right now? undecided

The way Borno, Zamfara and Northern Nigeria in general is as progressive as the USA at the moment, right? I agree. Lol.

Did you say "near none"? Mbanu! There must be at least 7million true Christians out of that 70million you mentioned biko.

I don't know the kind of Christians you've met but I've met a lot of Christians who emit the light and love of Christ. I daresay that Christians and Christianity is the saving grace of Nigeria.

If you remove Christianity from this country, you'd
most likely have another Afghanistan or Somalia here in West Africa.

7 million Christians, that is a lot of lights. Can you at least point out one of these 7 Million lights you have seen shining in somewhere Nigeria? undecided

As for kind of Christian, what makes you think I am looking to any kind other than the kind Jesus Christ Himself said we are to be..the kind whose light shines for all see.. that light being Ofcourse Jesus Christ and not the world's kind of light. undecided

Christianity is the saving grace of the country? So by your own words you admit that what it is you have seen is not a result of Jesus Christ Himself saving the country but the religion called "Christianity". I hate to tell you this but Jesus Christ's light which ought to shine from His followers is a different kind of light from the light that is "Christianity", the religion. undecided

As for your assertion that removing Christianity from Nigeria will result in an entity much like Afghanistan, I doubt that given the wreck "Christianity" has contributed is what Nigeria is today. undecided

This is justification you can still be progressive irrespective of the religion you practice. You only need common sense

Why do you preach against islamization of Nigeria when you yourself have confirmed here that Christians have the agenda of Christianization of Nigeria?

Religions that don't try to dominate others have peaceful coexistence with other religions but Christianity and Islam have a global agenda that makes them the real problem of the world.

A Muslim is tasked with islamization of the world just as a Christian is tasked with Christianization of the world.
Both religions trumping desperately to establish their own idea of God's kingdom on earth.

Interestingly Judaism that birthed Christianity and Islam does not impose it's religion on others (in recent times).

Point being, Christians have no moral or religious obligation to cast aspersions at Islam's agenda to Islamic Nigeria when the agenda of Christianity is likewise to Christianize Nigeria.

In both religions, there's no room for Live and Let Live.
You're either one of us or an enemy of our God.

Imagine the ignorance behind this post, with all the Christian radio stations in Nigeria, OP is still unsatisfied until Christian stations are created to snuff out Islamic stations.
There's no room for live and let live.

When yall realise what religion has turned you into, I hope it won't be too late.

The problem with Islamization is its voilent Jihad strategy.

How many times do Muslims preach to non-Muslims trying to win them "peacefully" into Islam? Is Islam not mostly propagated through socio-political and economic conquest, marriage and by birth?

Christ has never encouraged voilence. Christ teaches love even to one's enemies. Christ lived and died loving and blessing those who hated and eventually killed him. I daresay that Christianity is what has made Christians weak against the voilence of Islam.

Imagine if Christians believed in an eye for eye. But Christ says if your enemy slaps you, you should turn the other cheek for him to dash you another slap. Chai!

Furthermore, please don't confuse a secular radio station owned or run by a Christian with a 100% Christian radio station. I don't think there is any Christian radio-station (not online o) in Nigeria at the moment. I may be wrong though.

Let me add that I would choose a Yoruba Muslim over a Northern Muslim any day any time because the Yoruba culture encourages religious-tolerance and abhors violence. The Yoruba culture does not just give room to live and let live, it gives a room, parlour and acres of land to live and let live peacefully with other religions and cultures. Lol.

But the irony is that Northern Muslims look down on Yoruba Muslims and consider them fake Muslims.

Who knows? If Hausa-Fulani Islam was as peaceful and as tolerant as Yoruba Islam, maybe Nigeria would've been as developed as Dubai by now.

That's where you should have started, researching the number of Christian radio stations already in existence in Nigeria both online and through FM.

There are several 100% Christian stations in Nigeria.
Even in the North there are Christian radio stations.

The problem is you still do not see that your issue is not whether there are Christian stations but you won't be satisfied as long as there are Islam stations and everyone hasn't converted to your religion.

Thats the problem with slam and Christianity.
