Another attempt of an attack targeting the power line from Maïné-Soroa to Diffa. This time the IED was spotted and destroyed.

tutudesz:They started doing it around February. This is the second set of images I'll see with mud as camouflage from our ISR. This is why I support NAF not releasing footages of airstrikes. The enemies are watching it too. |

bidexiii:Will the mud fully camouflag the vehichle? what about the wind shield and heat exhaust.? Just asking? |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Stephandesward: 1:44pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
Xbee007:They have been doing it for years, to try to avoid aerial detection, they mix engine oil and sand to coat the body of the car |

bidexiii:Foreign fighters are influencing their operation serioiously. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii(op): 1:47pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
shogz89:With there vehicles been camouflaged with mud, it will blend with the desert terrain. Making it difficult for the air force to spot them. But not from ISR assets. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by shogz89: 1:48pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
Stephandesward:but this things will not stop heat na. i am just wondering how they will escape thermal imaging by doing this. |

bidexiii:. OK now i understand. thanks bro |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by bidexiii(op): 1:49pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
tutudesz:Its an old practice for BHT, its more of desperation from them, the air force his seriously disrupting there movement and operation. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Xbee007(m): 3:43pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
bidexiii:It is useless in combat situations anyway. The ISR is beyond thermal imaging alone. It uses series of algorithm to detect the tiniest movement. Except they are all going to standstill when the Skyhawk is pursuing their arses. |

motymop:The foreign fighters that assisted the Mujahedeen from the Arab world mostly Saudi became Al-Qaeda, the Local Mujahidin fighters became the Taliban, stop confusing yourself. Till US struck Afghanistan, Al-Qaida maintained a solid headquarters at Tora bora cave complex, it was the battle of Tora Bora that dismantled it. Infact, Osama spent nearly a year there after 9/11 before coming to Africa then Pakistan according to US intel. |

SamuelAnyawu:Its a Zpu-2. It shoots 14.5mm bullets. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by The5DME(m): 4:40pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
fufubear:that's how many calibre? Because .50 calibre shoots 12.7mm |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by SamuelAnyawu(m): 4:43pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
fufubear:Does it have more impact than the DSHK? It looks too bulky tho |

SamuelAnyawu:no let the bullet touch you ooo |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by SamuelAnyawu(m): 4:44pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
EricBraven:Lol it’s scary when looking at it. I usually see two people mounting on it. Is it a double trigger gun? |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by youghs: 4:52pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
SamuelAnyawu:It's a ZPU anti aircraft gun, it fires 14.5mm ammo. That gun can pieces one person into 600 parts with a single burst, so try stay far away God no go shame us |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by fufubear: 4:54pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
The5DME:It would technically be .57 but once you get past .50 no one refers to the bullets in calibers. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by fufubear: 4:58pm On Mar 31, 2021 |
SamuelAnyawu:Its definitely stronger than Dshk but if the power is really worth it is up for debate. Dshk is honestly good enough for soft targets and if Dshk is not enough it's usually better to just go with 20mm. 14.5 just sits in a weird spot right now. |

bidexiii:Yes... They have to camouflage from the airforce of neighboring countries... Because they are too cool to be seen... Also because you guys are all compromised. |

Heard series of arrest were made recently in relations to funding terrorism and banditry. The presidency has promised to publish the names of the sponsors but knowing that this claim has been made several times in the past, I'm not too optimistic, all that I ask for is true justice. |

jpphilips:The foreign fighters that assisted the majahedeen were made up of different arab nationalities.Infact, the chechens, Pakistanis volunteers for al Qaeda all fought against the Russians. Osama was just for cash and training. Al Qaeda bases and training camps have all been in Pakistan from day 1. And Osama didn't leave in Africa after 9/11 Osama lived in Sudan from 1992 -1996,, in 1996, he left for Afghanistan. |
