The attack on Soludo was pure terrorism. I am very sure that Isis and bokoharam are making inroad gradually into the east. Check out the target police officers allike Igbos. It is a well planned intelligent operation designed to make everyone confused about the real culprits. In the absence of whom to blame we are supposed to turn on each other instead of facing the enemies. We all need to be careful at this point |

gwafaeziokwu:The fact they target and kill predominantly Igbo or southern police men has since exposed the fact that some of these unknown gunmen are Fulani militants. What they are doing is to hide under agitation against illegal check points and military occupation of Biafra land to kill southern and Igbo officers in the Police. The Igbo counterparts in the army are sent to the north and their location leaked to Boko Haram to ambush and eliminate them. They are doing these because they believe the Igbo and other Biafrans in the Nigerian army or Police would form the backbone of a Biafran army when its formed. Again what makes you understand that these things are well-planned actions to checkmate the future of this struggle is when you notice that the British army is now teaching Nigerian army how to overcome improvised explosive devices (IEDs)! When none has been used so far in this struggle. So you can clearly see that the tactics is to take out their trained personnel and they will depend on IEDs and asymmetric warfare to survive. |
The vultures will be disappointed at last
Amen! I think anybody close to Obiano should advise him on the need to form another group like sars to counter these gunmen. This new group is to be more honourable than sars whereby there will be nothing like back door killings and execution except during shootouts but more vicious in combating crime. I am saying this because a lot of police men and women i know are already saying with the way things are going , they will have to work their transfer to other states just to avoid the upcoming election. except a strong team is formed to counter the killings and kidnappings but the Gov is silent on this. Now if our security operatives will do anything to evade the upcoming election , is it me that will come out to vote when my life is not even assured? Pls Obiano should give the CP directives on this as fast as possible. Otherwise me self go port to cote d ivoire |

martinect2803:That shows you the level of knowledge that folks have about Nigerian constitution. That is why most of them don't understand that 90% of current problems in Nigeria today is because its written in the 1999 constitution that way. Thus the chaos everywhere. I remember discussing with someone about security situation and he was adamant that Ugwuanyi deployed troops and police! If governors had such power in Nigeria there would be little to no security issues in Nigeria. The security issues emanate because the Federal government viciously control everything including security in the remotest villages. Of course the FG cannot even manage security in Abuja alone talk more the entire Nigeria. Although the state governments are now helping to fund the police in their respective states, their inability to deploy police to trouble spots without first getting permission from Buhari makes policing a mess in Nigeria. |

Anambra PDP Jealous Of APGA And Governor Willie Obiano’s Achievements The PDP in Anambra State is jealous of the mountain tall success of the present administration at Agụ-Awka, hence, their uncoordinated and unethical style of playing opposition in the State. I have since warned that opposition politics isn’t a call to rascality, witch-hunt and torrents of character assassination, the opposition party should be bold, but tactical in their activities and not heating up the polity. The constitution of Nigeria guaranteed that all political parties should be allowed to function without any hindrance, harassment and intimidation, but the fund raising committee masquerading as opposition party in Anambra State have since adopted grandstanding and harassment while discharging their supposed duty. The opposition must do its job which is to regularly check mate the party in power, although the PDP party in Anambra State lacks the moral justification to engage in any form of opposition. However, the present APGA administration in its magnanimity have allowed the Committee of friends and fund raising club to still function despite their litany of ills and shortcoming. What achievement can the PDP boast with in Anambra State to warrant them hurl insults at the decorated seat of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, if not jealousy and envy perhaps. A party, under whose reign, a sitting Governor was kidnapped, Anambra became a theatre of drama, properties of Government were destroyed, and many others razed down, salaries were owed, Zero infrastructures, unemployment, poverty, insecurity saturated the State, criminals took charge of the Eastern economic hub. Anambra was then, likened to Borno State of present day. Innocent Anambrarians all went into exile; all that continued unabated until the timely intervention of the APGA party, which have since repositioned the State and changed her misfortune to fortune that Anambra State has now become a model for other State in Nigeria. Consequently, the State has since sailed beyond popular expectation and now rediscovering self; Anambra is adjudged a city in transition, fastest growing economy in Africa and the most densely populated State after Lagos. Infrastructures are mounting at every nook and crannies, multinational businesses are fast relocating to Anambra State, the Anambra Airport and Conference centre and numerous other projects are testament to the new trajectory the State is headed under the watch of Governor Willie Obiano. It’s obvious the PDP lacks shame and ignominy for them to take turns to speak ill of Governor Willie Obiano (APGA), who has achieved what his counterparts in the PDP party could not imagine in their respective States. Recently, the incoherent and stammering Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Anambra State have taken to the Media to dish out his lies out of jealousy and desperation; he claimed that the Government of Governor Willie Obiano is yet to clear the gratuity of pensioners. Nwangwu need be reminded that the major achievements of Willie Obiano in Anambra State and reason the party has remained afloat includes but limited to priority of the Government to the welfare of civil and public servants. Despite the twin recession Nigeria has witnessed in the last six (6) years, no worker in Anambra State has had their salary slashed, nor retirees pension and gratuity delayed, instead, Governor Willie Obiano cleared the backlog of gratuities owed by his predecessors since 1998; workers welfare is one area the present Administration has invested utmost attention to, it will be folly for anyone to claim otherwise. The PDP has continued their brigandage in the State with the destruction of Government and public properties, security sabotage, propaganda and all manner of ills in their infantile desperado attempts to discredit APGA as a result of their red flag jealousy for Governor Willie Obiano achievements in Anambra State. The attempts of the PDP to lie their way to Agụ-Awka will be harassed with the truth and more projects when Governor Willie Obiano finally makes public account of his stewardship at the end of his tenure and hand over power to the next APGA Governor in March 2022. PDP has nothing left in them to offer Anambra State, they are jittery that Governor Willie Obiano has since raised the Bar of Governance in the State; we have laid a template for development of Anambra State, which they can’t penetrate until after 60 years. where Anambra d get their money from? the level of development is quite massive, can't imagine all these happening even when we know the bad economy situation or d price of cement and building material presently, dis guys r not stopping. Anambra is fast becoming a mega city comparable only to lagos,my major problem in Anambra is bad road.Massive road rehabilitation should b d major priority of the next government and a continuous decongesting of Onitsha,Awka,Nnewi for easy movement of vehicles, the traffic is just so abnormal. |

I have been following videos of these young youtubers showing all the internal inter-town roads in Anambra. What you will notice is that Anambra indeed has the best roads network in Nigeria and is indeed gradually transforming into a megalopolis where they entire state is one city. Paved roads with streetlights have become the norm rather than the very rare exception observed in almost every town in Anambra state! Today, it is the federal government roads that have remained in a deplorably poor condition all these years, while almost all the state owned roads are in good condition ! That is an amazing feat achieved in Anambra over a relatively short period of time! Anambra has also cultivated the commendable habit of building roads with drainage gutters on both sides of the road which helps in elongating the lifespan of the roads as well as flood control. Again, thanks to Obiano, almost every major road in Anambra state now has a functional street lights which was unheard of in Anambra roads just a few years ago. I think the next revolution on improving the quality of Anambra roads is how to tackle traffic on major intersections. I think building roundabouts in major roads junctions/intersections are a good way of ensuring smooth flow of traffic than installing solar traffic lights that breakdown after a few week. Also, people don't obey traffic lights when the Police isn't there. Moreover, roundabouts are beautification and monuments to great historical events of every town as well as a critical road infrastructure. Thus roundabouts in addition to facilitation of smooth flow of traffic can be used to beautify an area and tell its history or portray its proud cultural identity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1pNUTsl6Rw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeLz1mwDelw&t=377s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2IYYUi3r6E
