Exploding everything is not a solution, it's just unnecessary pollution. Work should have been banned from the area with heavy security placed there while the Government finds ways of developing the whole area for legal benefit of the people.

Still don't understand how the guys are able to stand there watching such a huge scenario .

As the fire burns, so many people are ignorant that as they are watching, they are inhaling soot. When soot particles are inhaled, they lodge deep in the lungs and enter the bloodstream, leading to heart attacks, cancer and even death.

Abegi, Nigerians should quit trying to justify CRIMINALITY...
Two wrongs don’t make a right and anyway a ban on illegal gold mining was imposed with the no-fly order in Zamfara just this month.

As if the military don't know it was going on before. The operator refused to pass their commission and they get furious and exploded the creek. There is no single illegal bunkery in Rivers state that the military is not aware of.

All these soldiers should be sent to Zamfara and Bauchi where bandits are killing people.
Leave citizens engaged in productive economic activities alone

....while nothing is done on the illegal mining of gold and other deposits in Zamfara and other northern parts of the country to the extent we now have Nigerian gold sold in Dubai yet, you keep destroying our creeks and further disintegrate/pollute the environment thereby jeopardizing our collective patrimony and health.
