This is easy, as you don't need TOEFL
Read through the trend from 1#.. You will understand all what u should do.. Regarding cheaper school depends on what u are going for in your Msc..

You need to authenticate your waec but legalizing it is not necessary

It is very important that You ask your school about this considering the difficulties in getting date. But if you meet all the necessary requirements, you won't be denied visa.

my WAEC certificate is 2016. should I indicate with purpose to the embassy that I'm a student here or I should hide it, and if I hide it, and am asked during the interview that what have I been doing since 2016?

is there anyone that have passed through same or close situation with me? please contribute, pleased I need an answer on what to do to this as it is very urgent.
