Note the following
You did not pay for Visa Form.
You paid for Visa Fees (Appointment and Interview)
This is what the payment at GTB covers.

The form is free and available online at ceac.state.gov. It is called DS160

When you fill it, you then go to ustraveldoc.com/ng to book the appointment for the interview, where you have to show evidence of payment (GTB receipt) and your DS160 number.

Since you have used an agent before, call the agent to give you your previous DS160 profile (I hope it wasn't embellished) and also the previous login details used for the ustraveldocs.com/ng (If not available, you can create another, but you must know what was filled for you previously)

The one I did with an agent was UK visa..do I still need to call him for the DS160 or I need to create a new one since it's two different countries?I guess I need to go to the cafe to fill it or can it be done with my phone..for the receipt, should I scan it or is there another way I can show that I have paid?thanks once again.

UK Visa has nothing to do with US Visa application.
If you haven't used an agent for US Visa before, then proceed.
If you have used an agent for US Visa, try and get the info.

Use your phone. A cafe may not be too good an idea for security, spyware or phishing reasons.

You don't need to scan the receipt. There is a number on it you type into the appointment portal at ustraveldoc.com/ng

Your first priority should be the DS160 form.
Take your time to fill it. Even over 3-4 days. Don't rush it.

No reason but I guess there are others that have their appointment cancelled in march and April. Email was sent to them but the reply was that ''the embassy reserved the right to cancel any appointment...'' they encouraged new appointment to be booked or make use of emergency appointment....

In this case, it may be be his "Achilles heel" if care is not taken. What was the outcome of the UK application? If denied....hmmmm. What information was filled out in that application.

This is why there is the constant caution of alarm on this thread about using agents. Everybody has a right to "hustle" but they mess people up down the line for a quick buck.
I tried to sound the need to get info on the 'profile' from the special package arrangements, which honestly I think was just a ruse for the fees that got retained from the refund.

European airlines fly into the US everyday so don't know what you mean by Covid ban. I know someone that left Naija two weeks ago via KLM and is now in the US.

Hello everyone, if you are traveling to U.S, and on a B1/B2 visa, pls avoid European airlines and BA. I was turned back at the airport on my scheduled Lufthansa flight. They were only carrying citizens and permanent residents. My Plans were disrupted but thanks to Mr Seyewest. I remembered that I had read a post here on how he helped people to book ticket while being trustworthy and professional. I contacted him the next morning and he didn’t disappoint. He got me a Turkish ticket to fly that same day at a ridiculously low rate. I didn’t bother to unpack my luggage from the car, I just rested for a while and headed back to the airport.
