WB is a top studio with history and loads and loads of great movies, but in terms of "best picture" Academy Award wins, it's 5th on the list. On highest grossing films, it's 3rd on the list. WB is not a top 2 studio. |

The list i put up there is from march 2020 to march 2021. What's the fuss about the Godzilla vs Kong anyway? It is grossing because it was marketed well. It would have just been another Hunter Monster without the franchise and marketing . |

FILEBE:I don't understand this bolded.  But those numbers you posted are for Cinema/Theater movies and not Streaming. Streamers don't post revenue accrued from individual movies. There's hardly a way to calculate streaming content success except from Number of Views and popularity. Also, on the piracy ish you talking about, the people who pirate the movies in the first place, the kings of piracy aren't even Africans. So I don't get the we don't buy movies. Asians are mainly the ones who make movies available for download online. So yea, they also don't pay for movies. |
