Hello Family, this thread is aimed at discussing experiences with all kinds of Jaguar vehicles, feel free to comment on any one's contribution and suggestion,

I have 1999 S-type and had electrical issues which locked the steering of the car. I haven't been able to sort it out. For the past few months, I have been seeing more of Jaguars and I feel the urge to resuscitate mine. If you have any tips or a way forward, or you have issues too, we can be of help to Jaguar lovers.

We should be able to talk about where to get parts, what type of engine oil and transmission oils that is the best, where to do body modifications, etc.

I hope Jaguar specialists and it's parts sellers too can join in the thread will join in.

Thank you.

I have own this s type 3 deferent times the 4th is the 204 I'm using currently, the truth is the only japanese car that we use here in Nigeria that can be compared to this car is the Lexus, its far reliable and stronger than so called Toyota and Honda that Nigerian believe are the best, the engine, gear , suspension, body etc are far long lasting and rugged that any Toyota and Honda, and the parts are cheap and available in the market not hard to repair but Nigerians have not realize it yet if not they will abandon Toyota ,Honda etc Nigerian believe so much in those japanese cars and they worship them like if you never buy a Toyota car you Neva buy a good car, that's far from the truth this particular s type is far better and reliable once it's not converted or tampered with from previous owners all cars depends on good maintainance history, with my experiences with deferent cars in life, I can never be fooled to believe that Toyotas are the only good car, don't even like them

the heart of the thread is in the words,(my jaguar had electrical issues and can't be sorted out in a few months) however reliable a car is one day something must break and spoil, then the question arises, can you get decent replacement parts?,can you get experienced mechanics to work on it?two very important criteria for buying a car in Nigeria,I once bought a Dodge ram v8 pickup and learnt the hard way about those two questions, nowadays I cannot stray away from Honda, Toyota,Acura,Lexus, for peace of mind.the op above that commented about his jaguar model that has a supercharger, what if that supercharger spoils, can it be seen to buy in Nigeria
