Everyone is about their own interest. The America who's always poking into internal matter of other country is protecting her interest. Venezuela a Marxisst country is protecting her own interest.

The influencer are also protecting their own interest.

Nobody is right non is wrong.

Yeah right, you just had to bring EndSARS into this. What evidence do you have to support this claim you've made? None I guess, as always undecided.
You need brighter grammar?

I don't think the youths of this nation are different from the monsters we have in power.
Small money and you'll buy them over. It's sad.
How can you trend something which you know nothing about?
Now many of them have lost their source of income which is their Twitter account. Imagine starting all over again. Nawa.
@bolded

Good question...

The Twitter accounts of some Nigerian Twitter influencers were suspended overnight (see previous thread here (https://www.nairaland.com/6493809/twitter-suspends-nigerian-influencers-accounts) and this Financial Times report from March (almost a month ago) might be the reason that Twitter took that action. The influencers were accused of trending a hashtag about Alex Saab, a Venezuelan businessman that is wanted by US law enforcement agencies.

I am yet to understand why the Nigerian twitter influencers were trending a hash tag about a Venuzuelan fugitive. VENEZUELAN!!

They will still tell us what really happened.

Nothing surprising here. More humans are sheeps than leaders.

Before the advent of the Internet, men sponsored protesters to influence public opinion and put pressure on governments. This method still works today.

However, the global platform social media offers has given people without professional degrees or achievements louder voices . It has made this business of "ACTIVIST FOR HIRE" more lucrative.

The unusual geometric increase in the bank accounts balance of major endsars influencers showed thick financial sponsorship.

Late last year and earlier this year, Stanbic bank (South Africa) paid these influencers to destroy the image of GTB and Access Bank( Nigeria) for the purpose of stealing their customers.
Were they successful? I mean Stanbic bank

GeneralPula:
The United States imposed tough sanctions on Venezuela that made it difficult to sell its crude oil. It was also alleged that the US was behind a failed coup against Chavez..

It is alleged that Alex Saab was on his way to Iran to broker a deal to buy goods from Iran and sell goods to them. He stopped over in Cape Verde to refuel his plane and the Americans demanded that Cape Verde should extradite him..
Even the Americans are not clean. They want to have a stake in Venezuela's oil but those ones refused. They now started making bogus claims about the Venezuelans using their fellow neocolonialists to impose sanctions on that poor country.
Everything about international politics is all about interests.

Is it now Jack knows there acts. When they were aggressively tweeting and retweeting the #Endsars ( I included/ ignorantly) he was supporting it which leads to break down of law and order which ipob terrorist are now using as a blue print for the evil agenda. African shine your eye. He ban Trump when he saw the same scenario because he knew Congress will sanction him once they investigate and find his company as an accomplice.

It is business, no hard feelings, alot of holywood actors and actresses has being doing the same for years, influencing elections, campaigns, some of the even made speehes on the Democrats platforms, Jonny wife beater Depp, stood on a democrat's platform and insinuated, made damaging statements like; "when was the last time an actor assasinated a president" making reference to Donal Trump. Maddona also made a statement like " I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the white house" Did anyone cared how much they were paid? Were they even questioned? NO! Because they wanted Trump out.

These same hyporcrites are yapping about Nigerian influencers, who got meagre $2000 for retweets.

Total bullshiit!
