If what you mean is that igbo (weed) grows in ile-ife, you are correct. Asides that, your ibo tribe has no portion whatsoever in ile-ife that is at Osun state. You must be mistaking the Ugbo people of the more mi fame for your ibo tribe. If it is a honest mistake then you can be forgiven, anything beyond that is pure and simple delusion.

Igbos are the first settlers in Ife, according to Ife history. There are still abroginal Igbo settlements close to the Ooni palace.

According to Ife history, Obatala migrated from NRI to Ife where he was King. Oduduwa defeated him and usurp his throne.

Go to Ooni palace and you will hear the story.
