I'm back here for some advice please.
I'm ovulating fine on my own, all my scans, hsg and tests came out good. Although they were all done about a year ago, but only issue I was having was infection which was treated and doc says im fine.
After much trying and error stress with doctors, I tried the trad option, same diagnosis of infection plus womb setting, after 3months treatment even she has now said I'm ok.
My thoughts it's now 2 cycles since early February I'm certified ok I still haven't conceived and I'm ovulating.
Question I want to ask pls, can someone ovulate and still not have enough progesterone to support pregnancy? If so what can I do please to help myself. Cos I always feel like I've conceived, then suddenly the symptoms begin to dissappear and I see menses again.

I used to feel this way, don't go and pump yourself with unneeded progesterone. What you experience is called PMS.

Go to the hospital and request for a pelvic exam to check if your cervix is open and the egg and sperm met?

Hello Ladies,does anyone have experience with Grabbo fertility clinic and Charitos fertility clinic please and do they shut for Christmas season or work right through.

My experience with Grabbo was not a good one. I chose them based on recommendations from a friend who used them and got a bfp. I learnt the hard way that one needs to be careful of some of these fertility hospitals that do promo. The whole thing ended in a bfn. Even when I asked for the lab test results, the nurse told me everything is ok and that they don't usually give results. Also when the doctor increased my dose of injections during stimming proper communication was not done and I had to tell the nurse on duty that the dose was increased as she didn't go through my file properly and this was done a day before when a different nurse attended to me.There have been complaints about the hospital recently. And as regards Charitos Bo I heard it's her husband's hospital, I read a bad review about him here on nairaland, don't know if it's true or not.

Thank you for this information.This TTC journey leaves you so vulnerable and it’s difficult to know who is who.About documentation i don’t understand why a staff would refuse to give you a copy of your result as you need it for your own research too.

Please i need some guidance. I had always had a very regular circle and flow since i started menstruating, i have also had two babies with no issues or complication. We recently started TTC for our third in January and all of a sudden my period didnt show up in February. On the day it was supposed to start i only saw blood when i wiped for just one day, there was no flow, not even a drop. Pregnancy test was negative too. I wasnt too bothered, i also tracked my ovulation that month and i got very strong positives mid circle. After TWW of that circle, PT was negative as well however my flow still did not come. It repeated the same thing as february with only blood stain when i wiped and only for one day.

Ater this 2nd cycle, i went to see my Doctor and she prescribed Primolut N. After taking the Primolut i still did not bleed. It was just the same blood stain after wiping. No recent weight gain/ loss, i dont think i am stressed and my hormone tests are fine.

I am really clueless as to what is going on or what to do. I just want my flow back or atleast get some assurance that even without the flow, ovulation is still happening.

Has anyone had their periods stop suddenly? how were you able to get it back? I know positive OPK doesnt confirm ovulation actually happened, how do i really confirm if i am ovulating? my Doctor wants me to keep trying for another 3 months before any intervention but I dont want to go on a TTC journey when i am infact not ovulating. I was going to say stress but you already said you don’t feel stressed.To confirm you are ovulating most times the body discharge about that period becomes very clear and sticky but some women don’t have this or fail to notice.Medically you could can do a progesterone,FSH and LH blood test.
Perhaps listen to your doctor and give it a few more cycles your body may normalise on its own.

yeahh thats my other option. To hold on with TTC until things regulate. Its just that i have read of people who have ended up not seeing their flow for years and if i can do anything to fix it now i wont mind. This "period" relationship is a love and hate one lol. Thanks Tutu.

Do you feel hot flushes or really bad headaches/migraines?.If you do then disregard my earlier advice and don’t wait as that would be menopause sneaking in as all our biological clocks ticking.

In addition to what the other mama said,
for your period, try dong quai and vitex. Both of them will not only bring back your period, but will also normalize and regularize it. Vitex also balances hormones and promotes regular ovulation.

To confirm ovulation, track with Opk and Basal body temperature thermometer. The Opk helps to pinpoint the exact time within your fertile window when you're likely to ovulate but it doesn't confirm if ovulation actually happened. Use BBT thermometer to confirm if ovulation actually happened. Your BBT spikes shortly after ovulation indicating that ovulation actually occurred. Progesterone level rises after ovulation and that is what causes the BBT to spike.

You can also confirm ovulation by follicular tracking or going for progesterone test few days after ovulation.

Can you recommend anyone?.I come into the country just twice a year and with this covid July is out of the picture that’s why am looking for one that stays open over the December holidays.

Good evening Mama's, I'm 5 days late, took pregnancy test this morning with pt strip and it was negative. The day my period was to start, I had abdominal pain for 5mins, could not move, just laid on the bed. I've been feeling on and off slight cramps like my period is about to start yet nothing. Sometimes I feel wet down there but when I check, it's just cm. What could be wrong please?

Just relax your mind and wait it out. For now, don't stress yourself, avoid lifting heavy things and don't take any medication. Retest in a few days time if you didn't see your period.

My wonderful mama triplets, I knew you would check on me that was why I came online �. The day of the procedure, the gynae wasn't around, we were asked to check back on Thursday. The main issue we had that made us go see a gynae, was sperm leakage after sex. Everything flows out , not semen o, like people say, as in all the sperm will just be on the bed no matter the style. And our gynae was telling us it's not sperm but semen, that we cannot see sperm .And even after raising leg for 1 hour, as soon as I get up, the remaining one inside, flows out and it continues like that even if I sneeze. My gynae prescribed some antibiotics for us which we took during my period and then I took aidan, uziza seed and uda also, during my period and stopped. Then we baby danced on the day I was meant to go for the procedure and no single sperm came out, infact, we were surprised, then we tried again, same thing. It was a miracle o. We now decided to see how this week goes, if it remains that way, then we will back it up with prayers since I don't have issues with ovulation and it's my ovulation period. We go back next month if nothing happens, but we pray for a miracle. Thank you so much for being there. I'll keep praying for you. God bless you and all TTC mum. The line looks almost the same, I advice you repeat test in the next one hour. The test line has to be obviously darker than the control line. You are on track..
