I took a piece of advice from here and sent a mail to a constituency member of the town where my school is located. I received a response from his office asking for details of my application and they assisted in making enquires to IRCC on my behalf. I got my PPR in less than 2 weeks after that. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I thought I should mention it.

Congratulations on your approval. However, the successful outcome of your application is merely a coincidence as Members of Parliament of Canada do not have any impact to expedite the processing of one's application. The role of an MP within your jurisdiction is to seek for information/update on their constituent application. In some cases, they help with reconsideration process for applications submitted to IRCC. In all, please be advised that they don't have influence in one's application.

Good day,
I got a message to check my profile that my action is required. I saw request letter and when opened this is what I saw (Payment receipt required). You have an outstanding debt to the crown for previous immigration service rendered, processing should stop . kindly see attached. I paid and submitted for my student visa successfully. The application number on the body of the request letter is not mine. I am confused. What do I do ?
@Justmellow
@Frankrobbn

Thank you.

Provide a detailed letter of explanation addressing the alleged concerns of the immigration officer. Your response to the letter should be well-worded and should highlight the fact that the application number stated on the request letter is wrong and doesn't have any correlation with the information present on your CIC account.

Include the following documents with your response:
1. Evidence of your application submission letter,
2. PDF screenshot of your CIC account while sighting your application number.
3. Detailed and concise letter of explanation.
4. PDF screenshot of Do not reply mail from IRCC after the submission of your file.

I believe with this evidence on file, the immigration authorities will correct the mistake from their part.

Ps: Please submit your response via IRCC official webform as well as the column provided on your CIC account.

Hi SleekCheek,

Please how did you go about getting details of an MP in your school location?

Nope. May resumption, but I'm required to submit my SP status 4 weeks to resumption. Wish I had the option of starting online. I'll gladly take it

We reviewed your application to Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning to the Web Development program at the North Campus for September 2021 and noticed that you have not submitted all of the required documents.
Based on the documents you have submitted to date, the following are missing from your application package:

• A letter from your institution stating the language of instruction and evaluation was/is in English
• Program is waitlisted
How do I go about this please ?

When did you apply

Have they given you admission now?

Okay boss, I would really like you to throw more light

I believe the Axa mansard savings account is a life savings investment which doesn't allow one have full access to funds in the account. Such investments are preferably used as a subordinate financial statement as it does have some encumbrances and other obligations.

Get a LETTER OF CONFIRMATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY from the school you graduated from and send it to HUMBER COLLEGE.

This letter is usually gotten from the Registrar's office and it would have the Registrar's signature , Stamp.

Depending on your school, you might be charged a fee for this Letter.

Find attached a Sample of the letter

Hello All,

Please I need some clarity for proof of funds.
1. Can the deposit for your first year come from a different account than the one you’re applying with?
2. How long should the funds have been in your account before your application?

1. The tuition deposit can come from any account other than the one you're submitting with your application package.

2. There is no specific period of time the money is supposed to be in your account. As stated by IRCC in the immigration regulations and manuals, applicant should maintain a steady inflow and outflow of funds which demonstrates their ability to study in Canada without being a burden to the Canadian Government.

Good morning,

Which IELTS is better please

Paper or computer based?

Do you've good typing speed with computer? If YES, then computer based should be your best bet here. On the contrary, you can go for paper based.

To add, asides typing speed, you also make less mistakes and save time in your reading by coping and pasting your answers from passages directly into the answer box

I used flywire to pay my tution deposit of $9,458 CAD, when I was generating my payment instructions, I selected international bank transfer in USD, that way you can pay into there US bank acc, which they now transfer to ur sch, that’s if ur school partners with flywire, after u have generated the payment instructions, then head to the bank, request to use form A, they will
Handle the rest, will also give u @ CBN rate..
I was given #395/$ then

You can select payment in CAD. It is cheaper as mine came to about N330 thereabout instead of 395

Oh that's good then, I will explore that option too.

I'm hoping since I'd get a COOP placement during the program I may not need the funding too. It's a computer science program, but time will tell.

Thanks a lot.
