I am isoko from A town called “Enhwe” close to IGBIDE ISOKO SOUTH. The people from enhwe speak a deep variant of Isoko and can understand urhobos more than other isokos variant.
My great grandfather an enhwe man is said to originate from EDO. And my great great grandfather is Erhabor an edo/Benin man.
Most isokos in enhwe town came from edo state during a Great War .
That’s the history of my people- ENHWE IN ISOKO SOUTH. So your own history sounds correct

The isokos call AlmightyGod- ‘Oghene’ although the g is silent in isoko language. The urhobos call Almighty God same ‘OGHENE’ although h is silent in urhobo
language.

I am isoko from A town called “Enhwe” close to IGBIDE ISOKO SOUTH. The people from enhwe speak a deep variant of Isoko and can understand urhobos more than other isokos variant.
My great grandfather an enhwe man is said to originate from EDO. And my great great grandfather is Erhabor an edo/Benin man.
Most isokos in enhwe town came from edo during a Great War .
That’s the history of my people- ENHWE IN ISOKO SOUTH. So your own history sounds correct
