If only our wanna be feminists will listen.

They fall back to feministic ideology to unleash their dark side.
They want to be above men,but treat their domestic staff's as slaves.Wish their in-laws were dead.

My motto is love and respect for the individual in a relationship. And of course the golden rule.

The Golden Rule is the principle of treating others as one wants to be treated. It is a maxim that is found in most religions and cultures.[1] It can be considered an ethic of reciprocity in some religions, although different religions treat it differently.

The maxim may appear as a positive or negative injunction governing conduct:

Treat others as you would like others to treat you (positive or directive form)
Do not treat others in ways that you would not like to be treated (negative or prohibitive form)[1]
What you wish upon others, you wish upon yourself.

I see you've read SKIN IN THE GAME

but like nassim said silver rule is better

You are welcome. I like talking about things I learnt from bible research.

Life is short. And youth, shorter!

You are right about life being short.

Knowing how polarized along religion in Nigeria, I think its wise I maintain my neutrality when I write.I have come to realize that religion supremacy is plugging this nation into deep waters.

Thanks once again.

Sir let me tell you the truth. It's not religion as they want us to believe, it's powers that be.

Far beyond Nigeria.

I haven't read SKIN IN GAME,but now that you made mention of it,I will surely search for it.

My knowledge of the golden rule came way back in my philosophy class.Emmanuel Kant took in to another level in The Categorical Imperative.

Just having nostalgia now.The good old days, when we thought after graduations we will change the world. cheesy

You are not far from the truth, but we can't deny the fact that religion is one of the tools the power that be is using to achieve their aim.

Once they play the religion card, you will start hearing things like:
He is one of us.

He is our own thief.

He is killing for our sake.

Ma'am, the issue is with 'modern' feminism.

I am sure the applicants are doing so correctly.

By the way, when is your next book coming out?

The development of your characters is spot on.

Feminism is a reaction to men past abuses. Men abuse is real everywhere and worst in the past when women had no partners to fight for them.

Unfortunately, for every Right gained, it is difficult to separate abuse by some. Abuse of feminism has been seen at work and home. Even after investigations when the man's reputation has been ruined at home, work or college; many courts are helpless in damages award to the man.

Why? Damn if you investigate damn if you don't.

If you think African men have been damaged, think about African American men, you will breath a sigh of relief.

She is always on point. One doesn't even have to spend up to a week on NL to know how Nigerians view and treat women. Féminisme is out to change that and not to hate or be wicked towards men. Forget about sensational headlines and out of context stuff people write and listen to her full speeches and interviews. I'm certain you'd definitely admire her even if you don't agree with everything she says.

Feminsm in Nigeria caught fire following her long essay the other time.

Perhaps she needs to recall her minions. cheesy

Chimamanda is a woman I continue to respect, though - for her other sterling qualities.

Very correct.

Tribe and ethnicity are the strongest tools they use in Nigeria. Followed by religion. Then political party affiliation. Now they have added sexuality, and gender.

I like your advice earlier - to stay clear of religious squabbles. I like, and enjoy, religious debates. However, I stay clear of religious fights.

The majority of feminist(both Nigeria and abroad) do not want gender equality but actually reversal of roles so that they become leaders above men.

I love the way everyone is convulsing. She was the same person that said this years ago:

Women are human, and I think that there are women who are good and kind, and there are women who are not, and that’s the whole point of being human. But there’s a discourse that says, “Oh, if women ruled the world, we wouldn’t go to war.” I don’t think that’s true. I have been to girls’ boarding schools. It’s not true!

I don't agree with everything she says but you have to look further for your villian or feminazi. smiley

Hmm.

My brother please enlighten me more on what you mean by "soak away" water in Lekki.

I was in Lagos earlier this year (Jakande, Lekki side), and the water I was fetching, even though it was 100 naira for 25 litters, was slimy in feel.

Please enlighten me on this

Lekki is waterlogged area which was sandfilled (using Nigerian standards). Unlike other parts of the country where if one digs properly into the earth and easily access relatively clean water. Such does not exist in Lekki and environs. Worse still, public water supply is in very few parts of the country. Thus, Lekki residents have to thoroughly treat their water before pumping into their GPee tanks.

Feminism is at variance with God's teaching on how a man and a woman should live together.

God makes the man head of the family.

Man and woman are not made to be equal. The man should love his wife while the wife is to submit to the man.

Feminism is, therefore, a theory and a practice from the pit of hell.
