I'm applying for US visa with my family ,paid for the visa fee through an agent since early February, the agent claimed to get a date for this year we need to pay 100k each . for a family of 5,I felt it was too much so we negotiated to 50k each , that makes it 250k for buying date ,I am yet to pay for that ,only made payment for visa fee and service charge. now I'm hearing that there's no available date for this year untill march 2022, , this agent is mounting pressure to pay for remaining 250k to buy date for this year and the way pressure mounting on me makes the whole thing suspicious. please is it possible that agent can buy date from the website cos when I also checked I saw next available date is for march , is It possible? this will be my second attempt with my family on the US visa ,, we are currently in UK now for holiday ,.I don't just want to waste more money .

why do you say so, Im only scared of making payments and then at the end of the day they couldn't secure a date for 2021,, you know after one year of visa application it becomes invalid and at the end I loose all money paid ,I'm just trying to trend carefully

It’s true! There are agents out there that can get you an earlier interview dates! No arrangement with any insider at the embassy,I think they just know the specific time/days the US embassy puts up these dates on their site!

I can personally confirm this! They charge around NGN40-50k per person! Go for the Agents with office addresses,not the nylon bag road side agents!

I have a friend who lives in California and is Us citizen as well recently she invited me on a sponsorship business visa to come work for her in the Us when I wanna buy the visa from Gtbank I bought the wrong one which is B1/B2 so she decided to change the letter to tourist letter staying she's gonna take care of everything concerning the trip both feeding and accommodation and she also notarized the letter to make it more solid as well meanwhile I have completed the Ds 160 form and print it out as well so I'm waiting for an appointment because according to the person helping me there's no closer date for now except until 2022 but he assured me he will get a date before August because the letter will expire in July
I have a virgin passport and no travel experience either but I have a business of my own in Nigeria and is registered as well pls what are my chances of the visa
The person inviting me is ready to do anything because she keeps on saying she can't wait to see me pls what are my chances or if there's any other thing I need to do to back it up you can tell me too
