CSTRR: What yeye infrastructure does Nigeria have? Please name it! Airports? Roads? Which one? Coupled with that the country is on the verge of disintegration or at least, is prone to violence. It is no coincidence Ghana got ACFTA hq and now Twitter hq. Na IT ecosystem Twitter wan chop? Only portfolio investments come into Nigeria now. Twitter can't commit to an economic, political and socially volatile country that lacks infrastructure 1 Like |

Crtitcise PDP all you want, but they were pro-business. They are highly corrupt, but they were smart enough to just let business run itself. The PDP logo was bribe us as much as you want, but once you are in, we will not disturb your business or investment. We will try and help you succeed. As bad as they were, it was still better for the common man than now. GDP growth rate of 7% is not a coincidence. We were the largest recieprients of foreign investments in Africa just less than 7 years ago. Right now, I don't think we will ever get to the largest in West africa, let alone compete with the likes of Rwanda and Kenya. Rwanda is on beast mode. 3 Likes |

No sane person will bring his investment into a territory inhabited by so many Islamic extremists and ayatollahs. The vegetable in Abuja presently hibernating in the UK has turned a once beautiful country into Yemen. He has practically taken Nigeria 20 years backward. 2 Likes |

timibare:Reason ... As a champion for democracy, Ghana is a supporter of free speech, online freedom, and the Open Internet, of which Twitter is also an advocate. Furthermore, Ghana’s recent appointment to host The Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area aligns with our overarching goal to establish a presence in the region that will support our efforts to improve and tailor our service across Africa.” “Whenever we enter new markets, we work hard to ensure that we are not just investing in the talent that we hire, but also investing in local communities and the social fabric that supports them. We have already laid foundations through partnerships with Amref Health Africa in Kenya, Afrochella in Ghana, Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI) in Nigeria, and The HackLab Foundation in Ghana. As part of our long-term commitment to the region, we’ll continue to explore compelling ways we can use the positive power of Twitter to strengthen our communities through employee engagement, platform activation, and corporate giving 1 Like |

Juliusmalema: As a Nigerian, I heartily agree with everything you say. Nigeria na abgaya... big for nothing. It makes absolute sense for Twitter to be in Ghana... despite our size, things are made too difficult here, for no damn reason. Constant light is an issue, fuel for gen will be scarce now and then, then add the insecurity and the fact that police will harass staff for having laptops. Intellectual integrity and freedom of speech actually mean something in Ghana, not in this zootocracy. 2 Likes |

PHijo:The AFCTA is not an investment. Most times smaller countries get those political edifices to give a sense of netruality and belonging. The EU headquarters is not Germany. It's is in Brussels, Belgium. FIFA is in Switzerland. Those are associations, not investments. Twitter is an investment. I don't see any special infrastructure in Ghana that Nigeria does not have. We have the bigger tech sector, the bigger pool of skilled engineers, e.t.c. Twitter is not going to Ghana to enjoy infrastructure. It's Africa after all. What Ghana has going for them is policy. Sound business policy and and an athmosphere that welcomes investment. In Africa, that is key. Africa is made up of shit hole Countries, but sound policy will make you stand out. Investors will be willing to manage your poor infrastructure. That was what Nigeria used to enjoy years ago. Sound economic policy and climate that investors can bank on. It's gone now. During the end sars protest, members of the Buhari govt were threatening Twitter. One abokii even sued them in Nigeria. That is not infrastructure deficit. That is just poor business climate. 4 Likes |

SarkinYarki: I am not a fan of Bihari, but let us say the truth, Buhari alone is not to blame for our lack of infrastrural development. Previous administration failed to consolidate on the infrastructure left behind by our colonial masters. That is the reason why Nigeria is where it is today. 1 Like |

Nigeria was designed by God for greatness, but our greed, foolishness, religious wickedness destroyed his plan. Nigeria will have special hell because Baba God will be angry with Nigerians. when we get old and never discovered our collective greatest God blessed us with as a nation, it's means we have collectively failed on our assignment on Earth. It's not by how you appear in public as a righteous people but by your deeds and defending the truth, all will be judged irrespective of your religion and race 1 Like |

CSTRR: Associations bring investments! It is obvious educating people like you is not worth the effort. Germany also has the European Central Bank, Frankfurt to be precise. There is an organisation on security located in Munich. Several international organisations have their headquarters in Germany or European presence. Nigeria is a failed state but people like you will keep on defending her. It does not in any way surprise me. 2 Likes |

What Nigeria needs is someone that can drastically reduce corruption while restoring the ease of business and economic dynamism that PDP brought to the economy. Don't change the economic policy of the PDP too much. It works. Just tweak it a bit by reducing waste and corruption drastically. That is why Peter obi appeals to me. He is the only one I have seen with the right blend of economics and integrity. 1 Like |
