The reason is that nigeria has no light, high level of corruption, kidnappings, terrorism, and even the poor pay for what they don't use, this country dey very big but our leaders get small sense,we have people's in nigeria with better degrees but have no jobs, a country were a President uses a school certificate to emerge as a President, is a big capital SHAME to nigeria and we the people of nigeria because some of you don't know your right, 5000 naira , and you vote for someone who don't even know how to speak good english, and you want the country to move forward, is a capital NO, untill una go get sense before this country go move forward, una go carry person way graduate from sokoto abi kaduna or even lagos to become president forge result come throway the person way graduate from oxford university, and una want make this country move forward, chai, I dey cry for this country, may God save us all , Amen. 2 Likes |

GeneralPula: U still Dey dream? Na because Naija leaders and their policies nor stable them fit wake up one morning and announce one yeye policy to frustrate your business. Very soon most Nigeria companies especially start ups go carry their head quarters to other Africa countries because of the greed and wickedness of our leaders. You know see say CBN don’t banned fintech companies from using BVM service because them not support banks during the banks vs MTn wahala? |

Rossikki: Refreshing view. Every company must not set up in Nigeria. If we are to go by the logic displayed by many here, then South Africa, Egypt, Rwanda, Ethiopia and other such countries should be berating themselves because Twitter did not set up shop in their countries. Facebook will set up in Nigeria this year while Google and other Tech companies already have presence in Nigeria. We have the largest market, largest pool of tech professionals and talent and surely policy development is slow but is catching up. Countries have peculiar challenges, ours is no different. 1 Like |

Nigeria is the market, Nigeria has the target market now imagine for a company to ignore the larger market for a lesser market tells you just how stupid our leaders are, zero sense, zero leadership quality zero patrotism, just greed, wickedness, and looting and embezzlement, guess the world also sees what some sane nigerians see, I like the fact that the Ghanaian president is actively involved in talking to investors, here our own jihadist, lifeless president is in London for medical tourism yet the idiot said he is resting, how can you he be resting when he hasn't done anything meaningful in his entire life. 1 Like |

I hope a day comes when we no longer blame the government for things like this. Our grandparents did, so did our parents, it never ends, If Nigerians can collectively raise millions of dollars for Endsars. It shows we are able to help ourselves. When we are ready! Grovemaster: 2 Likes 1 Share |

If they refuse to provide employment opportunities for Nigerians then we should reduce demand for their services. I suggest a twitter boycott for this. 1 Like |

SarkinYarki:Saying someone has a low IQ doesn't in any way make your statement reasonable or more right. Keep your Partisanship aside and reason like a person with basic sense. People buy registered SIM everywhere, where can I buy NIN again. If you can see the bigger picture or how integrated this project is going to be towards getting a substantial centralised system then I don't know what to tell. We are working on solving a bigger issue and you are here talking about investment by some expat, how much are they bringing in comparison to what a centralised database system would help us achieve as a nation. Comparing a registered sim data system with NIN is not only stupid but lazy thinking. |
Re: Twitter Chooses Ghana As Its Headquarters For Africa Operations by SarkinYarki: 11:01am On Apr 13, 2021 |
CamusMidas: If you had any cell in your brain you will know the govt can link both database without all the drama it has caused .there is absolutely no need to tell people to link their NIN to their phone numbers themselves if not shallow thinking and mischief .....this linking could have cross done quietly at the background either from the the NCC database or the NIMC database using which database most consistent as the fulcrum database but low IQed simps like you can never know this ..abeg just gerrout I don't have time to waste with sub humans |
