Here's the CEO New Age technologies,Chief Ekene Okpala who recently empowered 53 youths in his native Adazi Ani community in Anambra State with 1million each to start up businesses.

That's how Anambra men raise millionaires and not Money ritual.

Neurosurgery, Intensive Care Units Of Apex Multi Specialist Hospital Awka Inaugurated

Governor Willie Obiano has commended the Medical Director Apex Multi Specialty Hospital, Awka, Professor Uchenna Nwosu and Board of Directors for listening to the State government’s clarion call on think-home philosophy.

The Governor gave the commendation through the State Head of Service, Barrister Harry Udu, during the commissioning of Neurosurgery and Intensive Care Units of  the hospital in Awka.

Correspondent Theophilus Ukoha reports that   Governor Obiano said he is happy that most Ndi Anambra are now keying into the Akuluo Uno call by establishing their businesses in the State.

The Governor who applauded the addition  of Neurosurgery and Intensive Care Units by the hospital, said the units will complement what his administration has put in place, such as the Oxygen plant at Amaku, Awka, Anambra Health Insurance Scheme among other measures to improve health conditions of Ndi Anambra.

Earlier in his address, the Medical Director of Apex Multi Specialty Hospital, Mr Nwosu, who is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, explained how his vision for establishing the hospital started, saying that by adding the Neurosurgery and Intensive Care Units to the hospital, citizens of Anambra State and beyond who need close attention following severe illnesses and unconsciousness can now get a chance for life, while victims of major brain and spinal cord injuries can now avail themselves of the much needed services of Neurosurgeons at various units of the hospital.

Professor Nwosu thanked Governor Obiano for the vision of establishing an Oxygen plant in the State, noting that the Oxygen plant will ensure supply of life saving Oxygen to every hospital bed at all times.

The Chairman of the occasion, and first Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief  Pius Ezeife, said the akuluo uno initiative by the benefactor is now a gesture to reckon with, and has triggered development of quality rural healthcare delivery and health education, which are now available at Apex Multi Specialty hospital, Awka.

Members of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, ASHIA, and other distinguished personalities graced the occasion which featured cutting of tape for the commissioning  and tour of the units.

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company produces new customised trucks for Anambra state Vigilante group in order to tighten up security within the state. God continue to bless Anambra- the light of the nation.

Thank God for Unknown gunmen, our vigilantes are finally getting needed attention and facilities to provide security in our communities.

This is exactly why we protested when Obiano gave police hundreds of brand new vehicles and not much for our vigilantes that do the real policing and security work in our communities without bribery and killing of innocent people extra judicially.

Since the Owerri police HQ debacle it is obvious to all the governors that Fulani policemen will NOT defend the state. Infact, its highly likely they are complicit and collude in creating insecurity for their own nefarious agenda. Even Dave Umahi now wants 1000 vigilantes to provide security for his people in their communities.

Our people have NO CONFIDENCE IN FULANI NIGERIAN POLICEMEN. Let the FG arm the Nigeria police and let the state and the community take care of our vigilantes.

Brother you are always on point but in this case you are talking off point..

The AVS is a vigilante funded by Nnewi people for the security of Nnewi people... They dont go beyond Nnewi... . They have been around since the dissolution of the dreaded bakassi boys...

They have always used innoson vehicles, u don't actually expect Nnewi to outsource anything made in nnewi.. A typical Nnewi person will always invest in Nnewi

Anambra States finances are a bit opaque and hard to determine!

One sees all the oil exploitation going on; the sea of high rise blocks of flats; the tens of thousands of mansions and duplexes; the markets; and above all, the huge number of industries...one sees all these and you start to scratch your head wondering how such a thriving state can’t return at least 5 billion naira per month!

I think there’s a lot of leakages and stealing going on, but it appears the Governor and his finance commissioner are either less concerned or incapable of stemming the tide!

First of all , I applaud your courage to speak on this all important issue , unlike many who intentionally avoid this very topic because it exposes the incompetence of their pay masters.

Now , to the topic. Like you rightly explained in your second paragraph. With all the tumultuous investments scattered all over Anambra; the luxurious mansions, the expansive farms and the whole chains, the markets with billions pouring in from Nigeria and west Africa , the transportation sector, the industries etc. With these enormous investments that Anambra boast of there is no danm way we shouldn't generate over 7 billion in monthly allocation.

The failure of the Obiano government to account for all the monies generated from all the investments in Anambra, his inability to build a structure for proper tax collection and documentation is a proof that he has failed in one of his primary responsibilities as a governor, which is to protect lives and investments.

Everyday, on this thread , we wail and moan of poor conditions of our roads , substandard schools , ill trained and underpaid teachers yet we are sitting on a gold mine.

I can reel out to you 10 ways Anambra state can become a first world society in just about 20 years! Obiano actually failed Ndi Anambra!

But is it not true? Is your useless good for nothing father not older than Obiano? Where was your hopeless father when others were contesting elections? Obiano has done so well. He moved Anambra IGR from 500m to 2.5b, built bridges, flyovers, roads, ICC, international airport, stadium, among many other projects too numerous to mention here. if you think he hasn't done enough wake up your drunkard father to buy party form now. The next election is not far anymore. Ndi ala

A simple mathematics, convert the naira to dollar, let's see how intelligent you are. Make the conversion when it was 500million naira and dollar was 170-180, to when it was 2.5b when dollar was 380-460, I'd wait.
