Am not a camera man, if I need pictures I should get a professional camera to do the job.
I go for storage & the processor & I also check the voice quality in call.

I go for storage since I don't really snap pictures. But storage speeds plays an important factor.

Depends on the kind of storage, U.F.S storage is idea.

But what i look out for most in a smartphone is the S.O.C and it's architectural build (7nm or 5nm idea)

Thats why i can and will never use Transsion phones.

I actually go for camera quality because I take pictures for my work and Camon 16 is my next choice.

Camera quality, good processor, battery life and storage. Note that customer's want are insatiable.

yep great decision. you'd never regret it. the camera hardware in the Samsung is better

Even if we love to take pictures we still need good storage on the same phone we are using, my camon 16 premium with 64MP and 128 gig is very nice

It's the camera o, for sure i can always add SD card but now that many smartphones are now having high camera and high storage

its a big advantage then

All these things you guys are saying are actually moot points without the Processor (SoC).

If you buy Helio P22 or P35 from Transsion or Samsung or Umidigi, you're neither going to get a good camera (maxes out at 25mp) or good storage (only supports eMMC).

To save yourself the stress, get the two in one by looking for a phone with a good SoC.

Have you ever wondered why the 12mp on iPhones running Apple A12 or A13 Bionic destroys the 48mp cameras on your Helio P22 and P35 cameras?

ISP! There's a part of the SoC called an ISP that handles and processes images shot on the camera. A good SoC should also supports UFS2.1 and above for lightning fast storage.

While I haven't touched a Transsion phone in almost 4 years now, my last phone being the Tecno Pouvoir 2, they seem to have made some improvements due to stiff competition from Xiaomi and Oppo who clearly have better devices.

Samsung phones are clearly hit or miss. If you want to enjoy Samsung, do not buy anything below A50. Oppo phones are decent but grossly overpriced. If you want to enjoy Xiaomi Redmi device, then stick to the note series. The rest you can find out by yourself.
