A 15-year-old South African schoolgirl Lufuno Mavhungu Tshirenzheni committed suicide after she was bullied by fellow pupil at school.

Lufuno Mavhungu Tshirenzheni from the Thulamela Municipality, Limpopo, allegedly committed suicide by overdosing on pills on Monday, April 12, Limpopo provincial police said.

In the video that went viral on social media on Tuesday April 13, the grade 10 pupil from Mbilwi Secondary School in the Vhembe East education district is seen being stopped by two other girls.


One of them signals the other to move while she got closer to the victim to slap her countless times. The victim grabs the pupil who was assaulting her in an attempt to block the blows.

Other pupils can be heard in the background cheering the alleged perpetrator, who is also in grade 10.

Limpopo Education spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene confirmed the incident on Tuesday, April 13.

"The victimised pupil is reported to have since passed away. However, the cause of death is unknown. The department is awaiting a formal report on the cause from the relevant authorities,” said Chuene.

Beside a 15 year old is already familiar with suide and already tired of life? this generation sef; weak children everywhere, i just hope there is more to the story.

I will be ashamed if my daughter commits suicide for being bullied by her age mate in school, seriously!

But why? Suicide is not the solution, now?

Let every parent always find time to investigate from their children what happened in the school.

It's kind of an obtuse way to look at things if you ask me... Bullying is form torment which Adult have hard time dealing with in our modern society. We've all witness how cult members bullys their fellow mates into submission, most of them has no other choice but to leave school or join the movement.
