The above statements by Ebonyi State government show how stupid and out of touch it is. Was this not the same government that the governor was lamenting at a press briefing on how he was duped by the FULANIS that he had done everything to protect and yet they came and murdered his citizens in cold blood? For him to again turn around and believe the non-denial denial of the sponsors of terrorism, Miyetti Allah, shows his level of idiocy and cheer stupidity. I guess until they murder a member of his immediate family, he would still be in denial of the EVILS of the FULANIS. ANUOFIA!

Ebonyi is now under herdsmen attacks because the people are resenting their sordid acts and inhuman treatment of farmers.

The fighting has been there for long.

When I read the news of Bandits attacking that place, I had my doubts because I knew it was possibly those from Benue that attacked them and not Fulani herdsmen but I wanted to get facts before reacting.

If you are informed enough, you will recall when the two state govts raised a combined team of peace negotiators only for Ebonyi team to fall under attack on their way to Benue for the meeting.

So next time, ask to be informed before you talk.

But since the Chairman of the Agila people have said they didn’t attack the community, I guess we have to concede the attackers were Fulani herdsmen.

You should have done your investigation very well, do you expect Miyetti Allah to own up to the attack? Were you aware that this very community have killed some number of cows belonging to these Fulani in that region? Ask the people to tell you the truth. This attack was more of a reprisal attack by the herders for killing their cows and not a communal issue as your deputy governor claimed. Someone already said one of the victims phone number when called is being picked by a Fulani person or has the Agila people become fulanis? If you have evidence to show that the attack was carried out by the Agila people, then bring it out. Thank you
