The tragedy in this government is that they complain and cry about things they were elected to solve. You are the president, you command the Army, the Navy, the airforce, the immigration, the customs, the civil Defence, the...., YET, you prefer to moan like the ordinary civilians in the streets.. That is the height of dereliction of duty.. Make the laws to protect yourself and stop complaining about things you can solve!

What the Asians are doing in this country is called economic terrorism! If you think they just wandered in here and started illegal gold mining, illegal oil sales, counterfeiting and domination of retail trade, then you are as naive as they come...
Most of them work for the "triad", the clans, the cults and ofcourse the governments! Their home governments survey different weak and corrupt countries with fledging and dishonest governments and send them there to go on a looting expedition. I'm sure that most of these foreign governments make hundreds times more money from Nigeria illegally, than they give Nigeria as "Aids"!

Some Chinese were caught in Zamfara with guns involved in illegal mining! Try that as a foreigner in China and your organs will be harvested! Many Nigerians have died in Asian prisons for minor cases related to issues with their resident permits, how much more when you are caught in these serious economic sabotaging acts? They are producing the goods we consume, they are wholesaling these goods and now retailing it! Where in that chain will vulnerable Nigerians make their living from?

DEPORT ALL OF THEM AND MAKE LAWS THAT ALLOW ONLY WEST AFRICANS INTO SMALL SCALE RETAILING! Nigerian retailers have been banned in big China! Why are Chinese retailers flourishing here?

You talk like you don't know d failed country you are in. They are owing China billions of dollars...so they don't have any say.

Chinese companies treat der nigerian employees like slaves. They'd even call ur own soldiers to deal with you if u complain, and d soldiers will actually come...so there's not much to b said.

Nigeria as an entity is a joke to foreigners.

Actually, even in China, both local Chinese companies and their foreign counterparts basically "enslave" the workforce..
Chinese workers operate like robots Monday to Saturday..., In some cases, Monday to Monday..
I think the government overlook that because it's part of the process that make the Chinese goods cheap.. So one wouldn't be surprised to see some Chinese companies operating here with the same mentality..

If you are involved in wood/timber, solid minerals, hyde and skin or agro exports from Nigeria, you would have noticed that they have run Nigerians out of business.
Don't get it wrong; I'm not against market forces per se, dictating things.., but when you monitor their modus operandi, their endless financial supply, their government total support..., you will notice it's a case of a more organized government trying to out muscle the citizens of a chaotic country. Their home governments are involved! In some if these areas, they will never allow a foreigner from say Nigeria to have an import license which is the basic to ship directly into their market. But they will get in here, stay for over a year without immigration hassles, skirt around local whole salers and go into the bushes to buy WITHOUT paying taxes then bribe custom officers to get out fast and cheap!
This country is badly managed!

All na wash. This is the same President Buhari government which is heavily indebted to the Chinese and they have already signed agreements with "sovereignty" clause that if they default in paying back the money, the Chinese can confiscate Nigerian property anywhere they find it.

They have out-muscled most Nigerian big traders. The Chinese now produce those stuffs either in China or here, wholesale by themselves, pay little taxes in any, and zoom off. In some cases, they even retail here. And the Nigerian government that is talking of creating jobs for the people is standing hands akimbo doing nothing ..

They have taken over those areas and they're remitting everything back home at the speed of light..
No one protects traders in this country. They don't count.

The Chinese tried opening retail shops in Russia, but the Russian government stopped them. Mind you this is Russia, chinas biggest friend and ally. But they disbt favtor those relationships when making such decisions.. We don't have visionaries as leaders..


Trading and agriculture provides the easiest and quickest money making jobs for the less skilled in every country. For a country like Nigeria with millions of unskilled labour, protecting this section of the economy from "fake investors" should be a very serious issue for the government...
