Hello Everyone.

I have two questions on WES evaluation.

Please do i need to make payment for WES before a reference number is generated for me?

Secondly i need advice on the easiest and most secured way of making payment as i don't have a dom account ?

Yes you need to make payment before you can get a reference code ... you can use a uba dollar Africard to make payment.. Walk in to any UBA branch and demand for UBA dollar Africard.. you don’t need to have a bank account with UBA to get the card. Load the card with the dollar amount you want to pay to WES... GBAM! U Are good to go!

I currently want to evaluate my Bsc. I plan to also evaluate an additional certificate when its ready. Would WES charge me additional fee for adding additional certificates later ? Thanks

Hi everyone - I wanted to share that I was able to fly to the US and then Canada without any issues. I already had a visit visa to the US so I had that advantage, I stayed for a day and travelled to Canada by air and I didn’t have any issues. Sharing this for anybody that might have a US visa and COPR that might be interested in this long journey alternative

Rhodia:

Does she reside in Port Harcourt? I can help if she does.

My first result (09/01/2021) was L9, R7.5, W7, S8.5
Second result (06/02/2021) was L8.5, R9, W8, S8.5

What I did differently:

1. I stopped writing generic introductions ( this essay will, I opine, etc). Ielts advantage you tube channel helped me a whole lot in understanding how to write good introductions in essay writing.

2. I learnt how to understand the different types of essays (double opinion, argument, discussion etc). In my first attempt, I did not know this, hence I answered only one part of a two part question. Ielts jacky helped with this.

3. I learnt the use of contractions for informal letters. It is very essential to understand the different types of letter writing in task 1.

4. First time I spent too much time on task one and rushed tasked two. Hope she isn't making same mistake.

5. For map reading in listening, she should watch Alex of e2 language on you tube. Then liz for all types of listening lessons.

6.For reading, liz and e2 language videos. Ielts jacky as well. She should watch T/F/NG for the first and headline matching videos for the second.

7. For speaking, she can watch Keith of English speaking success. He videos are interesting and very helpful.

8.She should join the telegram group for ielts writing. They would drop great materials and also vet her essays.

9. She should look for the IDP writing guide and read it. It would improve her writing greatly.

I used IDP both times and wrote paper based tests, she can try that if she hasn't.

The truth is that in this IELTS journey, you have to bring out time and resources for learning. Every time I was driving, I was playing a you tube video through the Bluetooth speakers. Every free time I had at the office, I did a listening test, or reading test. Once my kids were watching TV, I left them to watch you tube videos. I spent a lot of money on data, didn't watch tv for the 1 month of intensive study I did.

Also, once I saw my first result, I booked another immediately, so as not to forget what I knew. It would seem your wife let too much time pass in between tests. If she isn't using the right materials and understanding her weaknesses and specifically improving on them, she would not have better results.
She needs to be in the right groups where they talk about ielts everyday, she also learn from people's mistakes. She needs to understand what her issue with listening is. Is it map, multiple choice?

She is using good practice materials but is she using them under exam conditions? She can try cambridge listening on you tube. It simulates exam conditions.

Let her not give up, like you said, every part of this journey is a challenge. My CRS is now 470 and my birthday comes in May. I have left ielts headache now to pray I don't lose 5 points before ITA undecided

Thanks for sharing. Well done & congrats!

Do you mind saying which airlines you used from Nigeria (since European airlines won't fly none green card holders or non USC) and from the US. Thanks!

Guys please help.
1. How do I go about from this page. I'm I to add credentials? If I do, I'm I the one to send my copy of my transcript or my school.
2. For the year attended on the wes application. Do I put 2017 to 2021 or 2017 to 2020.
The masters program was 17/18 session to 19/20 but i was awarded the certificate on 2021.
What do I do?

Can I re-edit after I have been given ITA?
Prettiepearlz:

Why is she not following you? Whether she follows you or not, you are providing POF for the number of family you have. So your best bet is her following you.

I saw this quite pathetic post in the "front yard" and I thought to share here. Please stay safe everyone. No one knows the real motives for having to stab her multiple times. It could even be some evil and jealous neighbours around.

My point is, try to keep your eventual breakthrough news on a very very low key. To say this country isn't safe one bit is an understatement! May God see us all through to the other side alive and in one piece.
Amen.

Wow! So it is possible her neighbours can stab her multiple times because they caught wind that she is travelling? Incredible. Please how is that of any use to them?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Nobody: 6:47pm On Apr 15, 2021
Lagos has too many idle hands and govt policing is near zero. No functioning cameras, no database, no anything. Again, returning from vigil all alone when everywhere is dark is risky.

Even remaining in your home is risky. I was in Nigeria, I had early-morning classes, I refused to put on the Gen not to attract attention to my people home.

Your transcript is to be sent directly from the school.
For the year, use the date stated on your certificate.

Don't forget to upload a scanned copy of your certificate on the appropriate space on the Wes website

Lol.. I don't even have any response to him since he has decided to manipulate my post.. and really, I wasn't even going to post a thing about it until I saw your reply -out of "nowhere". grin Obviously, it was assumed the word "neighbours" that I used means those sharing the same flat as the deceased family. I dont have a certificate so I'm using my statement of result. In the statement of result it just stated that I was awarded my masters degree in March 2021 and that my convocation will be Decemeber 2021.
I have no idea what to put in the years attended column since my sessions was 17/18 to 19/20 but was issued result on 2021 cuz of Corona.
Please help. The screenshot of the page is below

Anybody can kill anybody in Nigeria. Someone can get killed because of N100. Your first likely attackers are your neighbors or acquaintance. No place is safe where many people are jobless and families are busy having multiple births.

Quite on point bro except we want to keep deceiving ourselves. Country wey family members dey arrange kidnap of their own blood. Workers/ex-workers dey arrange for their bosses/former bosses.. just to mention few scenarios.

If you choose pay by money order option and then later switch to card payment option. Eventually you’re still paying for your evaluation, so isn’t it better to just pay. During covid this option was suspended and I don’t know I’m unsure if it’s back up
