My people, foodstuffs prices are becoming something else on a daily basis..the increment is mostly over 50 percent increase in some cases and I wonder how average Nigerians are managing. Something has to be done has this is getting out of hand.

Meanwhile some persons are already planning for 2023 when there's absolutely no positively in their current government. What is a way out of this or is just me feeling the heat?

If there was no endsar, banditry, bokoharam, ipob and all those inciting violence, there won't have been increase in the price of foodstuffs.

Inflation is around 16% thanks to those "gentle" problems above

In as much as the economy is bad and the government of the day is not helping matters, I honestly think that food is very cheap in Nigeria. Using South East as example, with #150, I can eat better agbugbu (don't know the English name) and achicha, or beans and plantain, or okpa and mineral.

Whether you talk or you no talk you'll still buy it like that. Who listens to talk in this jungle called Nigeria? Moreover there's no law in place to regulate prices of commodities.

By the time this regime is gone, there will be nothing left for the low income earners.

The fact that it has gotten to the extent of CBN now printing more currency note to bail out the states, na die we de my people.

It will never be well with APC and everyone who has a connection to it.

The hike in food stuff should be blamed solely on the incompetence of this government .

1. Incompetence of Govt.
2. More imports than Export.
3. Cryptocurrency.
4. Terrorist actions.
5. Political propaganda.
6. Natural occurrences.

I disagree, the blame is from the criminal sellers that store some of these food items so they can sell when the prices are higher.
They create the perception of scarcity, we the masses are our own greatest undoing!
Not everything is government abeg

The truth of the matter is that Nigeria is not a self sustainability country in food. We can lie all we want. We need to depend on imports to meet our local needs. But when government is sharing ban left and right what do you think happens?

Secondly, when useless fulani are not allowing farmers to farm why won't prices go up? Nigerian population is increasing massively and fewer people are venturing into farming.

It also doesn't help that the economic policies of the most useless government to have ever walked the face of the Earth contributes to the present food disaster. APC has failed!

The majority of Nigerians are animals, as long as their “person” is in charge, ineptitude is allowed.

Even if you complain, some people will tell you to stop wailing and make more money.

Shortsighted bastards!

Of course wailers are hungry and would rather reserve their little energy than to use it to complain about the prices of food.

While BMC are also both hungry and too embarrassed to complain about the prices of food.

While those that have japa from the country are too busy living their lives to come and cry over the prices of food on behalf of Nigerians that will turn around to insult them and try to extort them at the same time.

My friend Naija don cast ooh. If you can find your way out of this shit hole Abeg japa ooh.
