I can authoritatively say that the management of water corporation in enugu state cum nsukka urban area is not really living up to expectation. Having stayed in nsukka for the past 3yrs water has been a major prblm in nsukka. Just recently I connected to nsukka water supply pipe for over a month plus even a drop of water from that tap am yet to witness each time I put a call the man keep telling same old story.

I think they should privatize that corporation people there are not serious because they know at the end of month Govt. Will still pay them their salary.

Enugu is one of the few states in Nigeria where water corporation still functions; I cannot even think of any other state.
The problem of Enugu is bad leadership. The current governor has not lived up to expectations. So, it's affecting every facet of life.
Of course, even the Igbos on Nairaland openly attack the governor for his lackluster performance; a visit to Enugu threads/news here will tell you more.
BTW, you dudes should stop thinking that Lagos is without similar challenges.
I live on the island; we don't have clean water here.
You people don't get to hear about it because sinking of boreholes and treating very dirty water have become a way of life here.
Estates that cannot afford to treat water buy from tankers, but nobody tribalizes these things here. Instead, we see it as Nigeria's leadership failure.

Enugu state water board supply's water to all regions with access to the state reservoir.
The only problem is these areas are very few in number & they need to do more.
