Why is the federal Government not saying the truth, are they trying to turn Nigeria to Zimbabwe?

Central Bank of Nigeria (@cenbank) Tweeted:
The concept of printing of money is about lending money and that is our job...It will be irresponsible for the CBN or any Central Bank or Fed to stand idle and refuse to support its government at a time like this. #Emefiele https://twitter.com/cenbank/status/1382991152291397632?s=20

truth is many graduate of finance and economist don't really understand the financial system..
the economic explanation of finance is not a practical reality.
inflation is the constant increase in price of goods and services, but here in Nigeria inflation only happens when the naira looses its value to dollar.
Most people claiming printing of currency would trigger inflation are only doing so because their textbook told them so.
they've all lost the ability to think and innovate ways out of trouble.
today in Nigeria goods and services are being supplied in excess but no money to purchase those services.
people are filled with ideas to help the country but lack the resources to do so.
people are willing to work for lesser salaries but their organization that are producing are not generating enough income to even pay lesser salaries.
money should be relatively scarce not hyper scarce.
I encourage the govt to print as much money as possible to match the current inflation rate in the economy so people can be paid higher salaries and afford commodities being sold.

We all knew Obaseki was right ..The Buhari govt has reduced itself to Idi Amin style monetary economics where they print fake money in the night and inject it into the economy..This is the most criminal thing any CBN can do and Emeiefele should be ashamed of himself of allowing these uneducated Jihadists tell him to embark on such shameful measure

Emefele is a Biafran, the worst and most clueless CBN Governor Nigeria ever had. Buhari should sack him ASAP.

This is enough reason for both the finance minister and the incompetent CBN governor to resign with immediate alacrity. May be I am dreaming. Did IG of police resigned, was sacked, or stepped aside like Babangida, ?

Nigeria is bankrupt and big time inflation hence recession has creeped in and the chronic liars as usual are frantically trying with utter futility to deny it as usual. This is the kind of abracadabra/voodoo economy they are running. Nigerians brace for impact.

Instead of them to be accountable, own up and resign for deceiving a nation even with glaring truth staring them in the eyes, they resort to denial like the subsidy they have been fraudulently paying for years thinking they are deceiving anyone except themselves.

it can only be catastrophic when the printing becomes excess.
millions in this country are being stashed and irrecoverable.
instead of fighting I'm court endlessly, why not print other currencies in place of those stashed currencies?
Zimbabwe currency is still stronger than the naira.
so rather than cite examples, why not look for the main cause.
1 trillion naira wouldn't cause any inflation in the economy.
enough of all these impracticable finance that is not realistic.
under buhari era in 2015 when border were closed, importation reduced but instead of our currency to gain value, it lost.
same thing during the covid 19 pandemic.

that's not how it works. If money is been stashed at homes/banks andy ou want it in circulation simply change the interest rate. Positive interest rate encourages saving, while negative discourages people from saving.

Re: Gov. Obaseki Is Right, Emefiele Agrees To The Printing Of Money by nedu666: 6:22pm On Apr 16, 2021
To print 60billion means you earned the equivalent in dollars. Ex. If you earn $1billion and the price of dollar to naira is 350naira. The cbn prints 350billion, no problem. Where wahala dey is you did not earn $1billion and decide to print 350billion. Ha na inflation and recession you dey follow play.
The reason why govt is denying it, is because if foreign investors think you are print unearned money. Omo, na japa straight. They will start existing all their investments which creates serious pressure on foreign reserve.

Obaseki is quite ignorant.... Economists understand concept of monetary and fiscal policies as a tool for the management of the economy...not necessarily the beer parlour language that Obaseki is highlighting.

Money are not printed for it's sake but as a commitment to be paid.

The question is , was the money giving to State Governments a free money or loan?
