When Boko haram started in the North they were attacking policemen,people were happy because they perceived the police to be the enemy,they were so naive to the extent of hiding boko boys when they carried out attacks.After some time they started robbing banks and even throw money to people.Later on,they started killing village heads for exposing them.
I could remember when things started to get real,the North started to blame Goodluck Jonathan for using soldiers and gunmen to kill Northerners because they thought boko haram could not kill its fellow Muslims and tribesmen.All sorts of fabricated stories( fueled by politicians ) were made to tarnish the image of GEJ and unfortunately they succeeded to the point that the Northerners believed that it was GEJ who sponsor the attacks.Now,GEJ is no longer in power and the attacks didn't stop.
I would like the good people of SE to view things from all angles and find a way to resolve the situation before it gets out of hand.It's quiet unfortunate to see innocent people die.
