There will be 21 shops on each floor
There will be 3 floors, two storey building
There will be 2 different staircases in this plaza
There will be 12 toilets for use of the traders and their customers alike in the plaza
There will be a fence and gate

we now plan to remove the front columns on the ground floor, and hang the upper passage as a cantilevered projection, freeing more space for use of the plaza

Good morning sir, I thought the front columns will start from the foundation to the last floor. pls how will you achieve it if you remove the ones in the ground floor. thanks

Well done bro. I noticed the Foundations of this building is not as deep as the ones of your former buildings esp storey building. It's usually about 2 feet +. Any explanation for this?

Foundation design due to results of the soil test and the preferred depth where we can get a good bearing capacity of the land.

OK. I tut the land being waterlogged will require a deeper foundation

Bros, that's our water supply o

But we will fill it and dig a borehole later. The well was existing on the land before this project.

Something like this from another site, it's usually done to create more space on the ground level, a space for parking cars, stacking some goods temporarily or for ease of movement of traders and their customers.

ok. the front columns on the ground floor was embedded to the wall while the front columns for the first floor started from the slab. thanks alot

We've been busy here, the shop walls are already going up.

The people that will be making blocks for us sent me these samples for tests, but I will not be testing these, I will go to the block site to test the strength of the blocks there.

Work is continuing in this site as we have brought in our reinforcement rods and started work on the lintels of the ground floor. More pictures later.

Work on the reinforcement rods of the ground floor lintels has been going on. We are also bringing in our aggregates and other needed materials.............
