News of the European Super League have not gone down well in England where there has been significant criticism of the plans. 'BBC' reports that Chelsea are now preparing documentation to withdraw from the European Super League and 'The Sun' says that Man City will follow suit.
The world of football was rocked by news on Sunday night of a European Super League which could change football forever. The European Super League would compete with the Champions League and fans are also fuming. They are angry that money is coming ahead of performances.

After news broke that an English side were thinking of leaving the league, 'The Guardian' says that both Man City and Chelsea could pull out.

The English paper says that both English clubs are thinking of doing a U-turn and pulling out of the Super League.

There has been significant anger from supporters and a possible U-turn was mentioned by UEFA at Montreux on Tuesday.

'The Guardian' says that UEFA believes that some of the teams will back the Super League regardless because of financial reasons.

The 'BBC's Dan Roan reports that Chelsea are now preparing documentation to withdraw from the European Super League. 'The Sun's Martin Lipton also reports that Man City have decided to withdraw from the league.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino warned of the consequences clubs must face if they decide to leave UEFA. They have responded by offering more money in the Champions League.

Greed and nepotism will surely end this world. I don't know that Liverpool and Chelsea have entered into the same league with Buhari who want to have everything in Nigeria for himself and his tribe alone without considering the effects on other members they started the journey together. Truly Buhari in in the league of his own cos I don't think anyone can be as greedy as that nomenclature.

According to Perez, non of the 12 clubs can back out.

As part of an interview with Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, Perez said: "The contract of the Super League is binding. Nobody can leave, we will work all together.

“All the clubs signed the contracts last Saturday, there's no problem.”
