This is not about Perez. No normal person will scoff at a guaranteed 350m sign-on grant including these small clubs making noise everywhere. UEFA and pundits have misled big club fans into pushing against this idea. Even Barcelona owing almost $1b has fans talking about "spirit of the game."

I don't stan Perez, but kudos to him for sticking to his guns. Everyone else who wants to talk about ruined reputation can pound sand. We're Los Blancos, we don't give a flying f*ck about the opinions of folks who have always hated our success.

Not true. UCL will always remain more popular than any idea sounding like what the super league is currently parading. Football have always survived even when there weren't lots of money. If a club mismanaged their finances, they must bear the blunt for their lavishness. No easy escape via humongous money handout such as what the super league promised.
