What do you think about JM's recent purchases - Khedira, Ozil for example are young, not massively overpriced and if they turn out to be good, will serve Real for a while.

Juxtaposed against your claims that he works only for the present (maybe still true looking at the Carvalho purchase).

Who wouldnt buy Khedira, Ozil at that price with one year left on their contract?

If Real had the money, JM would have preferred to sign Lampard and Gerrard for £35m each.

Good deals no doubt, but by no means the finished product that JM usually prefers. . . .I think he's changing slightly and is more future minded.

Ozil isnt the finished product. Khedira certainly is.

Ozil goes missing for large chunks of the season.

Khedira is pretty much a 7/10 player all season through.

JM future minded? hahahaha. These two deals were the most obvious VFM deals of the summer.

Ozil is far from the finished product he is just 21 going 22 and he has more to do in terms of physical develoment, all he has now is the raw skill which a good coach can hone

Khedira has developed physically and he still has some edges to trim. How to impose himself on games especially top level games. At the World cup he was hand-led by Schweinsteiger

With more top level experience he can develop to be that Moreover his position for the National team isnt sure just yet as Ballack might still stick around for 2012. A lot depends on his development in Madrid.

Regardless of the result of the Madrid experience, these 2 guys still have a long way to go.

In the mean time reports from Germany says Bremen have launched a 8m bid to Marseille for Ben Arfa. Cool bizniz. Word was that they wanted Wesley the Brazilian guy
