These so called big clubs incur crazy debts through greed and now they can't pay because there are no fans in the stadium, so they're desperately looking for something to help them offset debts and they're calling it The future of football. A league that you can never be relegated from even if you play rubbish. That goes against everything sport stands for

I have no problem with the idea of a super league to bring in more TV and sponsorship money. But it becomes rubbish when you make it a closed league. How did they even think it would be allowed to fly? Like the rest of the football world will stand by and watch you guys in your untouchable 'elite' league and still entertain you for domestic matches?
They can create an elite league and at least make it eligible to the best of the best from each league. At least give everyone a chance and something to aspire and challenge. If a Leicester or Everton or Villarreal play really well then they can rub shoulder with the best and because it's a league of the best of the best you can be sure it will gain the required viewership because every club participating won't be pushovers because they would've played really well to earn their spot in the league. But when you close it off, who wants to watch Mancity vs Madrid ten years in a row? Not me. And also theirs no challenge and competition for the participating players because they know that whatever their results, they're still guaranteed a place in the league next season. Just rubbish

Haven't heard anything from Arsenal fans tv. They are secretly praying ESL work just so they can have a snif at playing elite football.
