Negotiation can avoid the war only if both party are ready to be around the round table .

The Nigeria govt should call Kanu to a Round table negotiation to be held in the Uk... with some Uk govt officials in attendance..lets them settle this.
cause the SE at war does not bold well for Nigeria..not even for us in the Niger delta since we border the Igbos and you still have Igbos I the Niger delta.
A war in the East will bring Nigeria to her knees.. our Economy is already in shambles.. if pipelines are destroyed etc.. Nigeria will Crumble. where will they get money to pay workers and do projects?. even China I doubt will want to borrow us... I'm begginng the govt to restructure..that's the only way to save this country.
As at now a war in the East, the Igbos hold the whole card/ aces... they're in a powerful positions in the world today than they were 50 years ago.. they're wealthy and can afford to send money home for weapons.
you also have Igbos in top armies of world nations who are ready to resign ND come back to fight.

The government should not negotiate Igbo will be defeated just like 1967. Coming in the night to kill and burn police station is not how to win a war instead the SE will become NE it will not affect Nigeria economy a after all the SE contribute the least behind NE.

Community policing something the buhari and federal govt failed to approve, this is simply the best way for the police to be active if not I don't see anything changing anytime soon rather it will get worse, the police need to be reformed.

I don't think you know the atrocities police do commits everyday in the east. Have u seen anyone that resides in the east that are not happy with the unknown gunmen? Police is never a friend of the east, maybe they are in north.

The case might be bigger than what you think. They need to properly investigate whether its iPod that is responsible for all this attack or an external force has taken over.
