Enugu attack: https://www.nairaland.com/6516548/breaking-unknown-gunmen-attack-enugu

Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation has condemned the attack on Enugu police station by unknown gunmen.

Fani-Kayode on Wednesday via his Twitter handle described the attack as shameful.

According to him, it would be a tragedy for anyone to turn Enugu which is a peaceful State to a theatre of war.

His tweet read:

The attack on an Enugu police station & murder of two policemen by unknown gunmen is shameful & shocking & I condemn it. Enugu is a peaceful state with a God-fearing & God-sent leader & it is a tragedy that anyone would want to turn it into a theater of war or haven for crime.

I think, it's time for the Nigeria police to be more innovative. They should engage in more dynamic patrols, and not mounting roadblocks everywhere. In most developed countries, the police have a program called know your citizens. In which they try to know every member of their community. It really helps a lot in building confidence and trust in the services of the police. Sometimes the community raises funds to
Equip the police men.
Raise funds for police widows
Amd even join hands in fighting crime if it looks like the police will be overwhelmed

The mistake we Igbos are making is we are assuming those attacking security formation in the east are ESN or IPOB but that might be a lie ...

This destruction of police station might be Jihadist at workoooo....These is how Jihadist operate when they arrive a place , they first attack police formations till the police lose moral then they start attacking the populace ...

This shameless hypocrite again? What is your business with whatever is happening in the south East? A man that supports an extremely corrupt drug dealer like Tinubu for presidency because of his stomach doesn't have a say in Eastern affairs.

Why haven't he spoken out against the marginalization of the Igbos in terms of infrastructure, government jobs and appointments? Why is he or any Yoruba for that matter concerned with people they hate?

If any Yoruba man supports you as an igbo man in anything you do, just know that you are on the path of destruction.

The best solution is to form civilian jtf and flush these criminals from our midst before they invite full blown war on innocent people. .

That's how it started and Borno and the people were shielding BH terrorists until army started raiding both innocent and terrorist before they decided to form civilian jtf and flush them out.

ESN are runaway cowards putting innocent people at risk with their "unknown" propaganda. Now military are raiding and picking them up in Imo putting innocent people at risk because they claim to be unknown.

Selfish evil gunmen must be flushed out from the East.

If this attack on police continues, crime will increase because it would embolden criminals. And the public would have no one to call against criminals. Afterall dem say na inside Bush ESN dey, so who will fight urban crime when dem kill or chase all the police comot for igboland? These people should be think deeply about the implications of what they are doing.

Politics aside, region aside, ethnic side, anyone wishing war in SE should find better detergent to clean their hearts.

This is the right time for leaders across the country to speak out.. War no be child play.

Negotiation can avoid the war only if both party are ready to be around the round table .

Avoiding unnecessary war us not a sign of cowardice
