British Government withdraws asylum policy for pro-Biafra groups

The British Government has pulled down a notice it published regarding its asylum policy in relation to separatist pro-Biafra groups including; Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Movement for the Actualization of Biafra (MASSOB), and their splinter groups.

In an email sent to Radio Now and signed by Hannah Dawson, senior communications officer-Newsdesk at the Home office, the British government said the policy is being reviewed and will be uploaded once it is ready.

Radio Now British gov statement

The email sent by Hannah Dawson is in response to our query, and request for an interview on the original policy which apparently, offered protection to members of groups some of which have not only been proscribed but also stand accused of being behind recent attacks against policemen and government infrastructure in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.

The UK government did not, however, give a time frame as to when the updated policy will be uploaded to their website.

Dear NgeneUkwenu,

I noticed that ever since the British government made the announcement of granting Asylum to IPOB members, you and your fellow BMC's have been in unceasing secret pains... The news really tormented you guys to the point that you have to use every means possible to make the British change their mind.

Well, surprisingly, IPOB members are asking for Referendum and not Asylum like some Benin Republic refugees we know.

Do well to celebrate this news with a grilled vulture meat from the BMC barbecue business man in this forum.

Best regards.

No doubt the fulani regime are deeply pained by UK asylum policy for IPOB.
But the question is, do IPOB actually need asylum for their members? Are the UK govt prepared to grant asylum to millions of IPOB members facing extreme persecution by late buhari's fulani terrorist regime in Nigeria? They can't. Besides, how can a reasonable freedom fighter live peacefully in UK when millions of his/her people are facing persecution and extermination by STATE SPONSORED TERRORISTS?
What IPOB/Freedom advocates need is a country of their own, not Asylum that only a few people will benefit.

Asylum or no asylum, what every sane indigenous person in Niger-area desire the most is FREEDOM FROM BOKO HARAM AND FULANI TERRORIST SPONSORS AND THEIR SYMPATHIZERS.
And the ONLY WAY to be free of the above murderers is TOTAL DISINTEGRATION OF NIGERIA!

But no where in the news it is reported that the asylum offer had been withdrawn, it was only pulled down for review and not different from the statements credited to the British High Commission in Nigeria.

The United Kingdom has said that all asylum and human rights claims from Nigerian nationals are considered on their individual merits in accordance with its international obligations.

Asylum kor, Somalia ni. People who could burn down Lagos city and kill patriotic Nigerians in police uniforms just because their leader ordered them to do so are now thinking they can run elsewhere. Law of natural justice will take its full course. Those you burnt their properties and killed with grief will do everything possible to hold you to account. A terrorist organisation that has nothing but hatred and bigotry against other Nigerian tribes should face justice everywhere from Germany to UK to Nigeria.visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria. you seem rather pained ogbeni. The UK is not your terroristic government. They know who is who and I'm sure that after the review, they will grant more assylum to persecuted Christians in Nigeria

UK knows better than going back and forth on such major policy issue. So don't expect a withdrawal. Moreover, asylum itself is not the point but the wider message.

If this asylum Britain gave ipob is biting u bmc urchins, go nd hang urselves.

The asylum was not withdrawn, it's simply being reviewed. Besides, ipob never asked for asylum, so even if dey withdraw it, it doesn't change anything. The fact that they deemed it fit to give us asylum when Fulani govt called us terrorists, says a lot. The harm has already been done.

That aside, this Yeye-Ukwuenu, Oyigbo update and Chukwuaustin all write the same way. Must b the same person with different monickers. If you like, open hundred monickers, Ipob is here to stay.

Nonsense nd ingredients.
