How Nigerian Army Can Deal With ESN/IPOB Without Getting Overstretched by Nobody: 12:39pm On Apr 26, 2021
One of the many challenges the Nigerian Army has been facing in launching offensives on IPOB terrorists' camps is the fear of having it's troops getting overstretched.

Already, the Nigerian Army has been trying to contain terrorists activities in the Northeast and Northwest regions of the country. With limited manpower, creating another theatre of operations in the Southeast region will come with a lot of challenges, and particularly in the aspect of personnel deployment.

However, in situations like this, there's always a way out. The following battle strategy I am about to expound will definitely go a long way in combating the insurgency that is already brewing in the so-called "Biafraland."

MILITIAMEN
There's a saying that if you want to catch a money you must behave/disguise like a monkey. IPOB/ESN terrorists as we know them, constitute what could be termed as a ragtag army- that is, a group of militiamen who lack adequate military training and strategies, as well as being outgunned against federal forces.

Drawing from the assertion above about how to catch a monkey, the best way to deal with this Ibo terrorists is to form a similar group of militiamen from among their own tribesmen, though well-equipped and fully supported by the federal government, to carry out offensives against these Ibo terrorists.

If IPOB terrorists think they faith in one local medicine, these government-sponsored militiamen should also be fully equipped with more effective charms. If ESN have camps in thick forests, the government-sponsored militiamen should also have similar camps. If ESN are ruthless in their operations and embark on guerrilla warfare, the government-sponsored militia should not come short in any way. It should be a dog-for-dog horses-for-horses strategy.

The militiamen will go after IPOB sponsors and donors- setting their properties ablaze and gunning down anyone associated with them in any way. No need for arrests. It should be blood for blood.

The federal government will then embark on propaganda strategies. Propaganda is an effective weapon of war. If IPOB think they are good at fabricating propagandas, the federal government must prove to them that they themselves are master propagandists, and that no ragtag army like IPOB terrorists have a monopoly of that strategy of war.

Occasionally, the federal government should order these militiamen to carry out attacks on selected structures in the so-called "Biafraland", and blame IPOB for such attacks, to create a bad public impression about them. Already, IPOB have been involved in things like that. But government being directly involved in it and using the weapon of propaganda will go a long way to garner public sympathy from peace-loving "Biafrans" and the international community. This will definitely be a game changer in the war againsts the Ibo terrorists.

Additionally, the federal government should provide arms and ammunitions which Ibo terrorists rarely have access to, as well as air support for the militia. Helicopters should be used to drop weapon and food for the militia in their bush camps. Gun trucks should also be provided in order to give their operations more mobility effectiveness.

THE END OF USAIN BOLT KANU, HEEMA POWERFOOL AND ALL IPOB TERRORISTS IS VERY NEAR.

But you've refused to write same epistle on how the Nigerian army can deal with
bandits.. That are Kidnapping, and killing civilians
fulani herdsmen..that are Maiming, raping, burning killing farmers..
boko haram... That Killing, maiming, burning, Kidnapping both civillians and military personnels..

Which you've obviously turned a blind eye to..
But your concern about a tribes whose sole aim is to seceded and protect her pple..

Your hypocrisy stinks to high heavens..

But you have not asked how easily book haram or bandits/ Fulani herdsmen can be crushed?

Your opinion is a mere imagination of someone who is not on ground. You think it's just about fighting? it's about the Biafran idea which an average Igbo person is born into and which he can never fight against. It's easier for ESN to form a military in the north than otherwise.

You should be ashamed of yourself for calling Ipob/ESN terrorists; for a group of people fighting to secure their lands and lives from the assault launched by raging Fulani herdsmen pampered by the Nigerian police and army.

I sympathize with Ipob/ESN for standing and fighting against the useless security architecture that are willing tools wielded by the leprous hands of the uncivilized barbarians called Fulanis.

Men like Ikonso died a greater man than the useless idiots called governors we have in the south whose major concern is the security of the lives and wealth of their loved ones.

Years ago I used to banter IBO's due to their unguarded insults against Yorubas on nairaland but I'll support anything they'd do to repel the menace of so-called Fulani hegemony. A fight for survival is fight we must all join hands.

May Ogun ambush all southern governors and leaders who over the years have watched uncircumcised animals bully them with threat of war.

That will be tantamount to wasting valuable resources/military assets on a ragtag, ill-equipped army. We need our able military personnels for better operations.

We should let Ibos kill fellow Ibos. That way, we have nothing to lose.

In the end, it is Ibo people who will killed including innocent civilians. It is Ibo properties that will be destroyed. It is Ibo investments and business that will suffer. It is Ibo people who will be become IDPs in their own lands and in the Cameroons. Everything no go pass Iboland.

Las las, the Ibo man supporting Kanu's terrorist activities will get sense.

There can be only ONE McCloud...

The Truth sets us free.

1. When last did your "President" have a live press conference or media chat?

2. World leaders came out PUBLICLY to address covid and other issues. When last did that happen in this country? Its always Garbu Shehu,Lai Mohammad and late Abba Kyari addressing the nation. And moronic imbeciles call KANU a mad man.

3./ESN is not Nigeria's problem. When Ipob members were being shot down and arrested by the hundreds, you didn't even know nairaland existed.

4. I am very angry at this point and will push no further.

Know this, Fulani domination has come to an end. The useless APC moderators can ban me till 4021...it won't stop what's coming. You push two, you will see 400.
