Guys chill, blue on blue happens once in a while even the US air force can make such mistakes in the heat of battle. It's not easy to have clear visual reference from above say 5000ft upwards. That's why communication is key, and in the heat of things errors can happen, if you've ever come under fire walai you'll forget everything you have learnt in training it takes alot of mental strength to coordinate oneself under fire. We are all blaming NAF, but nobody is looking at the possibility that the signal guys on ground may have mixed up things. The situation is really unfortunate and it's ridiculous and simplistic to think the pilots have being compromised. Wherever they're now they'll be feeling terrible at the incident that happened. |

PRESS RELEASE MAINOK: COAS APPLAUDS TROOPS OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE FOR THEIR RESILIENCE AND DOGGEDNESS On Sunday 25 April 2021, troops of Operation Lafiya Dole deployed in Mainok, Borno State, came under multi-directional attacks by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists mounted on unconfirmed number of Gun Trucks as well as foot soldiers with possible intent of establishing a phantom caliphate in the town. The terrorists were held by the gallant troops of 156 Task Force Battalion until the arrival of reinforcement teams from 7 Division, Special Army Super Camp Ngamdu and Army Super Camp 4, Benesheik. During the fire fight which lasted several hours, the gallant troops tactically lured a number of the terrorists into a killing zone within their camp where the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole scrambled Alpha jets and helicopter gunship which took turns in decimating the already trapped terrorists. In the aftermath of the encounter, scores of Boko Haram terrorists were neutralized with their body part littering the area and a number of their gun trucks destroyed. Regrettably, one gallant Officer and six soldiers paid the supreme sacrifice while 5 other soldiers sustained various degrees of injuries. The wounded soldiers have already been evacuated to the military medical facility for treatment. Currently, troops are in full control of Mainok and environ as exploitation for fleeing terrorists is ongoing. The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru has applauded troops of Operation Lafiya Dole for their resilience, commitment and doggedness and further reassured Nigerians of the Army’s unalloyed commitment to defeating Boko Haram/SWAP terrorists while urging citizens to always avail the troops with accurate and timely information for prompt action. A man that performed woefully as The theatre commander of Operation lafiya dole is made the COAS. He didn't even spend up to 8 month before he was booted out of that office because of how incompetent he was. Even with this kin terrible result, he was made the COAS. To the people in the presidency, Attahiru became the COAS because the presidency is only comfortable with a Hausa, Kanuri or fulani muslim. Whether he is competent is not their concern, so far you are a muslim, and you're ready to protect the Government of the vegetable, then you're fully qualified to lead the Nigerian army. I don't see the fight against terrorists having head or tail in Nigeria till someone else takes over in 2023 from the vegetable in Aso Rock. GMB might not even know Attahiru is the COAS ![]() |

The Okigwe South Area Command of the Nigerian Police in Imo State was on Monday evening razed by yet-to-be identified gun men. This is also as the assailants killed fibe policemen and abducted one before torching the command. The police command, which is located at Orieagu in Ehime Mbano Council Area covers Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo council areas of the state. An eyewitness, who spoke to our correspondent by telephone, said the gun men arrived the police command in a Hummer bus. On sighting the gun men, one of the policemen on duty opened fire on them, they returned fire and eventually overpowered the police men. When the loud reports of gunfire died down, five officers were dead and the remaining policeman who was the first to shoot on sighting the gun men, was abducted. As at the time of this report, the Police authorities were yet to comment on the incident. All efforts to reach the Police Spokesman, Orlando Ikeokwu proved abortive. https://www.newtelegraphng.com/just-in-another-police-station-razed-as-gunmen-kill-five-policemen-abduct-one-in-imo/ |

I won't be shock if the Nigerian police close down all their divisions in imo and start creating their own super camps too. If we are to rate the policemen in third world countries, The NPF will be one of the most corrupt, one of the most disorganize and one of the most clueless police force in third world countries. The way dem dey collect bribes for road without any shame nah wetin dey make me always wander pass ![]() |

Today Monday 26th, April 2020 3:00am. News came in that Chief Sunday Igboho House in Ibadan is under attack. We call on all Yoruba globally to be on alert the Nigerian army has brought the war to us and we must show them that we are no coward and want our self determination and we want it now. Sunday Igboho escapes as gunmen attack Soka residence in Oyo Some yet-to-identified people again attempted to attack Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Igboho), a Yoruba Freedom fighter at his Soka residence, Ibadan, in Oyo state. The intruders, according to his spokespersons, Mr Koiki Olayomi and Dapo Salami, have confirmed the futile attack on Chief Sunday Igboho. According to them, the attackers stormed the house around 1:30 am and attempted to set it ablaze but they were resisted by the vigilant security aides of Igboho. Though, the two aides didn’t confirm if there were an exchange of gunshots, Vanguard gathered that the two sides exchanged gunfire. Koiki, on his Facebook page said the gunmen invaded the home of Sunday Igboho located at Soka area of Ibadan in the early hours of Monday. Some residents of the area said they were praying earnestly while the gunshots were being fired. Though, one of the spokespersons alleged that the gunmen were from government, there was nothing to prove this claim. Koiki warned that if the security agents did not leave his boss alone, it might be the beginning of the problem that the government was waiting for. Koiki said, “The gunmen came exactly 1.30 am. They attempted to enter the house but they were resisted. I cannot confirm the number of those who came. But, they came and they were resisted. “We are not suspecting anyone, but we know that some people came. They came and they were resisted, that is just it.” Salami who spoke with Vanguard in a telephone conversation said, “Yes, the hoodlums came to the Soka residence of Chief Sunday Igboho at 1:30 am but there was stuff resistance by our men.” When asked if the attackers were able to get Chief Igboho, he said “no” adding that Chief Igboho was safe. “I have not seen him this morning. But, the attackers couldn’t get to him. He is in a safe place now.” He added that the bandits attempted to burn down the house but they were unable to do so. A resident who spoke with Vanguard “wondered why this present government was trying to curry problem for itself noting that why should the government be trailing someone who is just protecting his people when the government has failed to do so. “There are criminals out there who have been bold enough to own up to attacks on some people, this same government is not after them. It appears the government wants to cause problem in the country”. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/04/sunday-igboho-escapes-as-gunmen-attack-soka-residence-in-oyo/ |

ZULUM PAYS TRIBUTE TO SOLDIERS KILLED IN MAINOK Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has conveyed empathy and condolences to the families of some soldiers who died at the weekend during a battle with Boko Haram insurgents in Mainok town, along Maiduguri-Damaturu high way. Zulum, in a statement by his spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, described the fallen soldiers as heroes, who died protecting the people of Borno and defending Nigeria’s sovereignty. “Regardless of what happened in Mainok and how it happened as we collectively review the incident, we must first, and importantly, recognize that those soldiers who lost their lives at the weekend were fellow Nigerians; they were parents of children who are now orphans, husbands to wives who are now widows, and loved ones to families and friends now bereaved. They were soldiers of our armed forces who chose out of love for our country, to risk their lives in trying to keep us safe and to protect the sovereignty of our country. We mourn these heroic soldiers and anyone caught at the unfortunate setback in Mainok. ”, Zulum was quoted in the statement. Gusau however noted that Governor Zulum is seriously disturbed by the incident, especially given the fact that the insurgents have ceaselessly operated along Maiduguri-Damaturu road, impacting on the safety of travelers and residents. “Governor Zulum is assuring the people of Borno that the setback in Mainok will not deter the state government from its continued collaborative efforts towards ending the insurgency. The Governor calls on the military, other armed forces and volunteers at battle fronts to remain resolute while urging all stakeholders at the highest levels, to continually approach equipping and supporting front line troops with the fear of God,”, the statement adds. |

Change, no one asked if it was for better or worse, well, the answer is here. This is what happens when a country elects an ethnocentrist, bigot, uneducated and most importantly A PREVIOUS DICTATOR. When he refused to appear for debates was when I confirmed that he was not mentally capable to lead a country, and the events in the last year has reaffirmed that believe. I can't believe that we have a leader that is making me wish their was a coup, because this country is not going to survive till 2023. But unfortunately coups are almost never successful (maybe egypt is the more successful recent example). Nigeria is in trouble, we have been saying it and I am glad to see that those who shout down at others have all disappeared, it shows that they have seen the truth and are too ashamed to admit it. |
