AdoChel: Hello AdoChel, Since the renewed PP upon its issuance will carry the old PP number, you can go ahead to apply with it. You can even decide to send the biodata page of the renewed PP to IRCC by webform or email even before PPR once the renewed PP becomes available. Best of Luck 1 Like |

I made the payment and included the receipt in the package. From what I was told, the package wasn't opened and was refused at the gate. Without any explanation. The courier office I called yesterday said they'll try delivering it again tomorrow. I asked that they say least hey an explanation from them tomorrow as to why it was refused. Hoping for the best JustMellow: |

goldee29: Hello Ggoldee29, What was your previous study and/or current experience? How did you demonstrate the benefit of your study and/or future plans, or how did you explain what you intend to accomplish through the study? It is also advised that you request your notes to help give more insights into the officer's concerns and ways to address them. It may be better if you apply alone. I look forward to your response. Best of Luck |

Hello family, Is there anymore that got approved without eligibility status changing to "we are reviewing your eligibility"? or if it changed very close to when they got approved... I'm thinking sometimes IRCC don't update these things..I would like to see those with previous approvals shed in more light, thank you. Hope my question makes sense.. 1 Like |

Good Afternoon, Please I have a question for the gurus in the house: If someone has a Masters in Risk Management and an undergrad in Economics and statistics. Is it advisable to go ahead and apply for a Data analytics program (certificate)? What course would you please recommend. Thank you so much. |

Johanneiyoha: The GCMS means Global Case Management System. It is a system used by IRCC ( Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) to process immigrations i.e ( study permit, Permanent residency etc) and citizenship ( applications for citizenship and the likes etc) applications. The system contains a detailed record of each applicant’s file, including correspondence to and from IRCC, documents received from the applicant, detailed notes from the officers reviewing the file, and other relevant information. These notes give an overview of the current progress of the review of an applicant's submitted application. The GCMS notes are considered to be the only option for applicants to get the most accurate and exhaustive view of their IRCC file. Read more about this on https://www.justforcanada.com/gcms-notes-understand-guide.html Hope this explanation helps. 2 Likes |

Thank you @justmellow. I studied Business Administration as my 1st degree and have worked in the Banking industry for the past 18 yrs. My story will be centered around career progression. Can I still order the GCMS note for a 2019 refusal on Visitors Visa? If yes, I will get on to it asap. Would I be requesting for both application or the last one? This is my 1st Study permit visa application. Thank you for your suggestions and advise. JustMellow: |

Kayz3446: Hello Kayz3446, First, I will like to know if your spouse has any work experience after her studies in Nigeria before accompanying you to study in Turkey. As a dependent, does your study visa cover her resident stay in Turkey? My take: • This time, the application should be made from within Nigeria. • Immediately she lands, get an employer to issue her a job offer letter and get salary pay into her BA for like 2 - 3 months (if there is no rush or urgency) backed with payslips. Her basic salary should be up to 300 - 450k or as the case may be. • Get the employer to issue a study leave approval letter and an employment letter of introduction. n.b. The study leave approval letter can be backed to reflect the period she left with you to Turkey. Meaning she can claim to be an old employee of the organization. If your registered company is in line with her study line, then no need for an employer. • Employment ID card should be included and a picture of a welcome back to the office with other employees should be included, if applicable. • Set up a fx deposit in her name and include the certificate, if applicable. • Her letter should detail the plans for her intended study once completed and if possible get a partnership MoU or contract agreement to function in a capacity related to her study. • it will be better if your spouse has two letters. The SOP to outline her study interest and the economic benefit in Nigeria and the LOE to address the officer's concerns. • A sole application should be filed and can immediately file for the baby after getting approved. • All reasons and explanations should be anchored from a socioeconomic viewpoint and should be well worded. • The return ticket back to Nigeria from Turkey should be included along with other visa stamps. • Include a letter of consent from you permitting and/or acknowledging that a close family member (preferably mother or siblings or as applicable) will be the custodian of the child in Nigeria until her study completion. Same acknowledgement should be gotten from the custodian in agreement to the agreement. n.b. this is not a guarantee that the outcome will be successful, but these are some suggestion that can be resourceful. I am in close contact with someone who is in same situation that applied from the Neitherland and got refused. The said cane down to Nigeria to reapply but still, was refused. I advised a JR and the said person won. In other words, if the funds is available for a JR, set aside a budget just in case. Let me know if you have further query. Best of Luck 8 Likes 1 Share |
