Let's use Ajaka State as an example. Ajaka State has a State Ministry of Health with staff. It is the State Ministry of Health that has failed Ajaka people not Buhari. Buhari is not "the head" or "at the top" because the State Governor was not appointed by Buhari. Ajaka people voted in a governor who has failed them. The governor minister of health and ministry of Health staff has failed the people by refusing to build good hospitals.... this is commonly blamed on Buhari. Secondly most States can afford to fund their healthcare themselves without federal allocation. The need for federal allocation is overhyped. Federal Ministry of Health only has an oversight responsibility - they can send in staff to various States to check data, state of equipment etc but the Nigerians manning the State Ministry are liars and thieves who will give false figures to the federal ministry... in this case the federal ministry cannot do much....

The Nigerian people have been failed by their state governors.

At the next election, pay more attention to your state governor.

If Nigerians chanelled the energy they use in blaming Buhari to blaming their state governors - Nigeria would have become much better by now!

Farmer Herder Crises
State Governors have failed Nigerians by not negotiating with Miyetti Allah and working with their cabinets to immediately quench the farmer herder crises. There's no way only one man can simultaneously be having 36 meetings with 36 state governors to stop farmer herder and also be attending foreign meetings and also be stopping kidnapping... it is the head of all these other institutions that have failed Nigerians

Territorial Integrity

Buhari is responsible for ensuring the territorial integrity of Nigeria and this is the major failing and failure of the administration for which Buhari should be 100% blamed. He should resign for this reason alone

Nigerians have been placing sole blame on their presidents since 1960 so this isn't new.

But Nigeria's problem could be blamed on Jonathan, right? Is it because Jonathan is a Christian and you Muslims count him.as a.kafir? Is that why you are bias even when evidences show that Buhari has failed?

My brother Nigerias problem only has about 33% to do with the President - regardless of it's it's Jonathan, Buhari or Yaradua.

Nigerias problem is 33% president, 33% states and 33% people. Regardless if it's jonathan or babangida or Buhari

States already have power.... if they didn't have power there will be no state governor, state house of assembly, state ministries..... there will also be no state budget.... power is already devolved and has been devolved ever since....

Okowa looted, Tinubu looted as governor allegedly, many governors loot - are you seeing the pattern here?? How come of 36 governors none has been desirous to make their state like Texas?? Being desirous is one thing nor having the money is another.. .. if a governor is desirous of great things everyone can see it.

Finally, every state has revenue and a budget - most states have lots of money - stop generating excuses for lack of performance of state governors

Why the double standard?

A bag of rice as at the time of Jonathan was between 5,6 and 7000 respectively, but under this terrorists regime everything has scattered.

Families can't even feed their children let alone sending them to school.

Buhari and APC are The problems of Nigeria.

There is no double standard - Nigerians love blaming any president be it Buhari or Yardua or Jonathan....

Families not being able to feed while sad is a State Government responsibility. A responsible state would have ministry of labour and employment as well as food subsidy depending on how rich the State is. Lagos state government is rich and should be able to afford basic food subsidy. Same as FCT

Don't use Texas as an excuse.... Nigerian states have Internally Generated Revenue - of course internally generated revenue is revenue the State generates for itself. Smart States don't wait for federal allocation, they generate revenue themselves.

Stop trying to generate excuses for States so that you can blame only one man - Mr President

Smart states like what ? Why can't you support states to control their resources

People like you leave root cause of a problem and attacking the symptoms

Restructure this country , anambra spends billion to build an international airport , federal government says it's only going to be a local airport ... investment wasted and you say what

AAC tried to give Nigerians a glimpse of good governance in Edo Government elections - unfortunately INEC frustrated the party out of the elections.

No one is catching any cruise just a statement of fact. Californians blame California governor in the first instance, same as New York.... People of new York can't wait for the governor to leave.... the point is blame your governor for state government matters....

States already control their resources except for oil and I can bet you even if States fully control their resources it will be same as current mess because the Nigerians in those States or even biafra will still be corrupt. Nigerians are all the same at the core.

Lagos controls it's revenue and Lagos igr isn't shared with anyone same as Akwa Ibom

Yes the governors should be held responsible, but the kind of democracy being practiced in Nigeria gives the president absolute powers which makes wicked people who finds their way into that position to act wickedly. If a good man becomes the president of Nigeria things will move well. The president is in charge of the country and every blame stop at he's doorstep. Anyone trying to make excuses for the president/presidency is just doing so out of hes/her normal survival hustle.
