Good morning house,

I am intending to create a website with a .ng extension but the hosting company (American) does not offer .ng extension. I’ve decided to buy the domain name from another hosting company and then transfer the domain name to the American hosting company.

Please, does anyone knows the procedure of domain name transfer.

Look for another company that offers .ng, that should be only Nigerian companies. Then speak with their customer support; they will do it for you.

I only know of Whogohost. I haven't tried others, I am okay with their service.

Another thing is that Nigerian hosting companies are far more expensive with terrible speed as compared to American hosting companies.

You can simply just connect the domain name from the Nigeria registrar to your American hosting simply by changing the nameservers of your domain name to the American hosting's own and add your Nigeria domain name to your America hosting "add-on domain" in the cpanel and your Nigeria domain name will be connected to your America hosting.
