Zoning is dead, your own southern president Goodluck destroyed the pre-existing agreement that power must rotate when he ran on the North's ticket. This is a fact that the south seems to ignore. It was the turn of the North and he took it for himself.

At this point, zoning is dead and it is up to the most competent to show themselves and we will let the citizens of this nation decide who we want. If the North has the population, then that is just a reality that the south will have to live with. The south broke the agreement, but now since it would favor them, they are in support of an agreement that they themselves killed.

The North has woken up, in those days we weren't aware of how the south sees themselves in relation to us, but today aboki is no longer your fool. We have he numbers, the advantage in regards to population, and we have voting power to put anyone in office, and take them out of office.

Let everyone field their champion and we will see... until the south fixes its many security challenges like various groups calling for succession and brings these people to justice for treason, we see no need to rush to vote a southerner who will not ensure the unity of our nation. Please, lets leave the insults and speak as men with facts, reason and curtesy, we are brothers.

then you guys should prepare to have your own country 2023

As we the south will not be part of the union again

We are brothers, ignore those calling for succession and attacking innocent Fulani merely residing in bushes to eek out a livelihood.

Ignore the media that only reports when Fulani defend themselves, but are painted to be the aggressors.

Please, let's come together and live in harmony, exploring real solutions like ranching to avoid farmer/herder clashes and allowing those in the bush to live in peace. Many of these people came in from the Sahel and have nothing, so they are looking to restart their lives in Nigeria, they are not criminals but economic migrants looking for greener pastures. Let's live in peace.

But you cannot just settle in another man's bush that is another indigene's farm land ? Besides, Fulani are free to live in our villages, towns and cities ; why must they live in the bush ? I am confused, please enlighten me.

This is where we run into trouble because of a cultural misunderstanding.

The Fulani man is a global man, anywhere he goes and it is good, will be home. The Fulani is detribalized and one of the most tolerant of other's cultures, to the point where Fulani will even leave their mother tongue and use the language of the host communities. Fulani believe in becoming "one" with the hosts.

So, many Fulani came into the country from Sahel not looking for housing but land to call their own. This is why some occupy the bush, because from there they will be left alone to develop and create a community far enough away from the indigenes in order to not cause trouble. Fulani are peace loving.

This is why the bush is important, it is free of population and fertile, so we can create new communities. However, recently these communities have come under attack and Fulani have been retaliating. All the Fulani want is to be left alone, and for peace to reign.

You’re a terrible troll. Get a day job.
