Have you wondered why she didn't raise this issue when she visited? Because such issues does not have xist at all. The poster concocted ptdf letter and make it looks like it's for NCDMB.

Again, the FCC charlady has submitted her candidates for this recruitment ... One of her candidates has 3rd and masters degree respectively but the ES rejected FCC candidates with 3rd class.. She has to submit another name in replacement emmiditely. Some commissioner in the committee was also given a slot each, committee is well prepared for supervision. She was in Bayelsa yet this issue wasn't raised? ... If you believe this fake letter, you can believe anything...
The issue of federal character submitting name is true ,the guy with 3rd class in his BSc. Economics from University Abuja rejection is true and his Msc in UK .The guy did nt fall into the category of those people that wrote exam,he did nt apply nor write exam as the recruitment is of two type ,those that wrote exam and those that did nt that is base on recommendation. The letter is genuine,it is carbon copy of the original letter. NCDMB had already reapply for waiver as directed and the recruitment will continue where it stop as the earlier period expired. The guy is my course mate at undergraduate period. Those names submitted did nt write exam only few wrote exam base on the fact that when ncdmb recruitment started the chairlady was nt the FCC chairlady then. Usually if a chairman incumbent sent list for job placement even if another chairman comes an agency can nt reject both. The chairlady would also like to incorporate her own too that is all.Once the pass chairman sent list it has to be considered that is what is happening. The present Secretary FCC was the acting chairman before the chairlady assumed duty last year July,2020 ,so he was the one that started the process and he is still with commission as the oldest staff in which the present chairlady and her commissioners are new in the system.

Okay, thanks for the clarification
TammyAnybody:

Refer to Par. 1(i), please.

Par. 1(ii), any move to go ahead with the next stage without recourse to Par. 1 (I) will invalidate the whole recruitment process.

The recruitment is much alive, just that the agency cannot continue with the next stage unless a waiver is granted and extended through revalidation.

All activities being carried out in respect to the recruitment must be put on hold or else it is invalid, so approval of revalidation is necessary to move ahead with the process.

the approval for revalidation might have even been approved by FCC, I was told this evening that NCDMB as written for revalidation 3x, so it wil be a continuous process until the recruitment is concluded

Number to be employed 150-200

Fyi.

Do you know if the 150 to be recruited is a sum of both categories or just the merit?

I am sure this is why this exercise was cancelled. Too much political pressure. I am so gutted.

This is a poorly doctored document I must say. I have had the privilege of sending correspondences to NCDMB immediately after the commissioning of the Towers and I was advised by NCDMB to henceforth address all letters to their new Headquarters and this was sometime last year. To be honest, the address in that memo is even the least place for a correspondence of that magnitude from an Agency as powerful as FCC to be sent to when the former Headquarters building (Glass House Opolo) is still existing.

NCDMB recruitment is far above 300 for both GTs & EHs but the letter sent to FCC captured 150 to 200. Even the ES himself isn't sure of the numbers GTs & ES to be hired.

What do you have to say about the NCDMB address captured in that letter? Where the letter was addressed to.. I'm not from Bayelsa State but I'm a bit familiar with NCDMB former office and their recent office in Bayelsa. Non carry such address..

Error in writing could occur at anytime ,when FCC realized the mistake they will write another letter with correct address to supersede the earlier one. My brother I don't have problem with the letter ,or delay in recruitment,if they like they should continue delaying all I know at the end I will get my APL by God grace

How’s switching jobs being greedy ?? Like, I don’t get it one bit. Let’s even assume it’s for the economics, what’s wrong with that please? how’s that being greedy? What’s wrong with getting paid better for solving a problem ? So one should get choked up on bills and financial commitments in order to appear “patriotic”. And, What if this job, aside the better reward, aligns with his long term goals? He should give all that up? This job is not endsars palliative sir, he worked for it.

And, of course, this has nothing to do with patriotism, not even remotely.

Except you're a fresh graduate or do not have working experience, you'll understand that career growth can be vertical or horizontal. There is absolutely no patriotism in advancing ones interest or career; and in case you don't know, there's a level you'll also reach in career where you'll experience and expect to play politics, it's call board room politics.

Some people may stay in an organization if they see a clear cut route to rise to the top, even to clinch the coveted position, you must network and play boardroom politics, while some will get other jobs to advance their careers. It happens in every area of life. Career, like life is not meant to be static. This is why you see companies recruiting experienced hires. These experience hires are looking for the next level in their careers, some are looking for more pay, some are looking for more challenges to solve, various other reasons.

It's absolutely normal. In the banking industry, people jump from one bank to the other, and get the next level which translate to high pay and perks, that's why you go to some bank branches and you see very young managers, if they stayed in one place they may not get there fast enough.

In politics people jump from one party to other where they can get tickets with the hope of contesting and furthering their own agenda.

In the Universities, to become the VC is not a child's play, and there a Prof who I know, felt cheated from being the VC in a federal University, resigned and got a job in a state university, today he's the VC. Will you call that greed? He's looking for his own next level and advancing his career and realizing his dream.

What will you do if you've spent six years on one level in your place of work without promotion and you have an opportunity to get a better job, will you be patriotic and try not to be greedy by not taking the job so that others who don't have jobs can get it?

Let me leave you with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs that explains human motivation based on the pursuit of different levels of needs. The theory states that humans are motivated to fulfill their needs in a hierarchical order. This order begins with the most basic needs before moving on to more advanced needs. The ultimate goal, according to this theory, is to reach the fifth level of the hierarchy: self-actualization.

Self-actualization relates to the realization of an individual’s full potential. At this level, people strive to become the best that they possibly can be. The need for self-actualization can manifest in different ways, such as: Obtaining skills, Utilizing skills, knowledge, and talents, Pursuing life dreams etc

In general, self-actualization is the pursuit of personal growth, and if I have the opportunity for personal growth to achieve my dreams, such as a new and better paying job, travelling to Canada, joining politics to get appointment, my brother I will be greedy and will not be patriotic. I will grab such opportunities quickly.

Peace ☮️.

You don't get choked on bills when you work in CBN unless if you're greedy.
CBN is among the A-list agency in Nigeria and if one can leave CBN simply because NCDMB or any organization pays higher, then that's pure greed no matter how you try to sugar coat it. GREED is GREED and it means you can never be satisfied even if you get that agency you are vying for? You know why? Because it was greed that took you there and nothing else. There is a big difference between someone leaving a ministry job or any other job that has no allowances but only salaries. But you see a place like CBN that has all the allowances that you can think of and if you meet anyone that works there and still complains about their working conditions. That's pure greed. My assertions is based on the post by scheme talking about people who works in CBN and NNPC and wanting to leave.

Anybody body that wants to leave CBN or NNPC for a higher paying agency is doing that out of greed.
All what you're saying is just english language and motivational quotes.

And yes I'm not a fresh a graduate because I have been in this street fora while now.
