The rate of deterioration bills of high denomination is very slow. Why dont they replace the rotten N100 and N200 bills in circulation?

Why anything that speak against the government always ipob?

Government prints money, so it shouldn't be a cause for alarm

1. If your foreign exchange improves, in this case, oil prices rose giving Nigeria extra dollars to push up your reserve and that gives backing to new currency notes being printed

2. Worn out notes are routinely absorb and at intervals they are trash and new ones printed

Why are some of you just so daft. Printing of money is no big deal it happens everytime and in all countries of the world.Money is usually printed for some of these basic reasons.When some currencies are old or torn and needed to be replaced. For every Dollars or hard currencies earned the corresponding amount in naira is printed ,likewise for gold
E.g for every $1 earned.Nigeria can print the equivalent in Naira i.e #450.
The issue with the #60bn wahala is that ,it's not backed up by anything.either gold , commodities or foreign money.Your macro and micro economics must be right.
Conjuring money from thin air is a very bad economic principle,which ultimately leads to Hyper inflation. Let's pray it's not true. If true ,I sorry for Nigeria,we will just head down the Zimbabwe hole.

There are ,however printing more 1000 notes can lead to a reduction in corresponding amount in other denominations or note. Presently there are more 1000 than 200 notes.likely for every one 1000 notes printed there can be a corresponding reduction of 5 200 notes that are removed f4om circulation.
