hmm, but I read a post here on Nairaland that some organization and company do really ask for Bsc certificate that without the Bsc certificate both PGD and masters will be term useless pls am confused because am still a fresh student currently gain admission for HND before it's too late to know if I shld apply for DE this year.. help a brother

My brother, the truth is no business establishment will request for ur Pgd or Msc for entry level. They only need ur first degree, which is bsc. If u now present hnd cert, they see a bsc applicant who's also applied for the same job as preferred candidate. So adding more certificates such as Pgd and masters to hnd to make it equivalent to bsc is like gathering momentum in the wrong direction. Please don't fall for the trap.

Look for a marine company, apply as an Electrical Officer Cadet.

Do your Cadetship for 12 months (sea experience)

Go to Ghana or Uk (do some research), enroll for an ETO Certificate of Competency.

Go back to the ship as an Electrical Engineer onboard.

There is a mad demand for you.

There are colleges in Canada that accepts HND for postgraduate diploma programs. Your easiest path will be to pick one of these colleges that doesn't require IELTS, considering your academic qualification, age and work experience. You can send me an email for more info.

Clowns everywhere. How is student failing in an interview a fault of the institution.... HND is great, just that many of the polytechnics are more after money than quality education nowadays.... Especially polytechnic of ibadan that just pack students into class like sardines...

Bro go do your hnd e no stop you if you know you want masters and you have the result for it because most universities in Nigeria wants upper credit to be able to apply for masters after ND but I’ll advise you to go for your hnd after your hnd you can travel out and do you masters oversee simple....

No need jare, waste of time. All you need to do is convert it via wes. The school that gave me my i20 ( admission letter) wanted my real OND and HND transcript not the the WES evaluated one. They gave me admission just like that.
