village people yes, but many of these calamities that befall man are not necessarily that one man or woman in the village go to babalawo before it's happened, many happened because of covenant that
fore-fathers had man with gods then, and since religions have separated the children from gods, the gods/strong man of father's house (evil covenant) are fighting back (retrogressing) the children.

He decides to visit his hometown and in doing so, offers monetary and kind gifts to some of his kinsmen, according to his magnanimity. Few months afterwards, his business begins to crumble and he is finally reduced to a pauper...after selling all his properties ofcourse. undecided
You may have seen the above story played several times in our nollywood movies but I want to ask; are they real? Do these "village People" have the power to take away our sources of joy? If yes, who gave them these powers and why can't these powers be wielded to turn their own lives to good fortunes.

The reason for my post is this: I'm about to visit my hometown and would likely throw a party and render help to some of my folks because I haven't been home for some years now. But my girlfriend strongly opposes this. She says African villages are full of evil people.
I don't agree with her. I'm a scientist and I believe people who crumble in their businesses may have made bad decisions and this has nothing to do with village people. My father always told me to focus and work hard. They are the keys to success. He doesn't even believe in all these spiritualisms flying around. And he has also been living in the village most of his life!
Furthermore, take a look at the Western world. They don't believe in village People. Maybe that's why they are able to make economic advancements.

What's your take? Fellow Nairalandis.

Pls throw the party at the market Square, pls a take God beg you.

Do it for good three days den share money to numerous people as much as u can.
Bro i love ur magnanimity.

Pls scatter ground, that ur gf is a winch, pls go to the Palace and scatter ground.

Plsssssssss a take God beg u.

I just want to see the work and strength of science after one year.

Guy wake up and smell the coffee. Some of these folks telling you it's all myths don't know anything about spirituality. Be careful as you travel to your villa. Wicked souls exist in this part of the world and many of them are just bent on destroying any good thing they see around others. A word is enough for the wise

Some of these things are mostly done by close relatives and kindred. If your kindred are not evil, you can hardly have issues with village people. Secondly, these people you just mentioned, you don't know their background, they may belong to one occultic group for protection or patronising one Baba, Alfa, or pastor for protection. My Uncle was once an ADC to a former military governor, Which is presently a Senator. He told us how the man used to import some medicine men from Congo and Benin. The truth remains, that there are evil men everywhere, but with God on our side, we will overcome. Don't ever under rate them without a backup.

All this people you mentioned,if they tell you how many battles they have fought in order to be who they are today, you will be amazed.Let me tell you, most people will not tell you d road they took to be successful but is d results everyone's want to see.Don't be deceived, this our africa especially Nigerians are full of wicked people. They don't want you to be more than them or their children. To destroy is very easy but to the successful is a battlefield.

Those red-capped men in the village are bloodthirsty. You don't need to harm them before they harm you. They'll just feel threatened by your affluence and start projecting deadly disease into the sun and moon against you. As long as you operate under these firmament, you won't escape being attacked. That's why the Bible says; The sun shall neither smite me by day nor the moon by night.. ". Just be careful, and prayerful. It's not about science. It's about involving Jesus Christ.

Yes village pple exists
They come in different ways
A cousin of mine housed a guy in lagos based on the guy was from our village. That cousin of mine is the kindest young oga you can ever see... After the viilage pple heard the son was serving a younger guy of like 28years, they started calling the guy to come back to the village because he was serving a younger person. That was how the guy went back to village and started serving masquerade and shrines..
Meanwhile my cousin took other pple to his business, npw they are all doing fine. Driving big cars and own houses on lag.

I'm the latest boy boy to my cousin and trust me, that guy is wonderful..
The mumu guy called on friday and was begging my cousin for money.
Village pple don useless am

There is a something called "idiomatic expressions".

The only time you don't give a thought to village people is when JESUS CHRIST is your LORD and SAVIOR.
And YOU are led by HIM, praying without ceasing.

Are you from Africa or America? Are you white or black? Incase you didn't read our ori is stronger than each other and this is why if you use jazz on me it won't work and if you use on someone else it would work.

See jazz is real and it is about your belief

And there are real prophets forget all these fakes we see, there are men and women that can look at you and tell you everything about your life for real, things about your village.

Take it or leave it as long as there is evil and good then juju is real

People keep talking about village people, juju and superstitions nonsense, but what kills people in Nigeria daily are bandits, terrorists, poverty, insecurity, hunger, poor Healthcare, bad water, unstable Power supply, bad roads. Etc
These are more issues to be concerned about than some people living in the village who are trying to make ends meet. And you're here disturbing yourself. Na poverty mentality and Nollywood dey cause these things sha.

Since you have protection against jazz, do you have protection against poverty, insecurity, kidnappers, accidents, hunger, terrorism and all the problems we're facing in this country?
If not, then you're just a regular guy just as every other person out there who doesn't believe. What advantage do you possess over me who doesn't believe? Aren't we all facing problems bigger than juju and so called spiritual attacks in this country?
How have you used your knowledge on juju to improve the life of others. You see, juju and its beliefs are just as useless as it is. cheesy
So spare me that long cock and bull story about being a black man in Africa, as if believing in these things have ever improved this country or the life of anyone before.

White people do juju, they join cults like freemasonry where they practice black magic

You must do something in Nigeria to be free from poverty and if your ori allows it because we a have our destiny.some people black juju can't work for them but give them white juju and it would work

People that don't need juju are the likes of dj cuppy her papa Don do the juju for her already

Juju is not just black magic, even cele Church day use juju

Village people is a myth

There’re evil people everywhere. Some people are so wicked that say you buy 2 bottles of beer when dem buy 1 dey pain dem to the extent of planning evil against you.

We all have to be careful
Whether in the city or village.

What most people don’t realize is that most of the health related problems we tag “village people” are mostly evidence of reckless lifestyles, poor health facilities, religiousness, neglect, poverty etc and has absolutely nothing to do with witchcraft

A man wakes up in the morning, has not tasted any food, grabs a bottle of snapp( ogogoro), takes a shot of it on empty stomach, he proceeds to trek over 1km to his farm, he bends down under heavy sun to pull blessed Yam tuber, he works on empty stomach to 3pm, treks home. HE IS THE PERFECT HARDWORKING MAN IN HIS VILLAGE
He repeats this pattern for over 20 years and one day he’s coming back from the farm, stumbles on a little stub, falls and dies. Ah village people have killed him.

A young man who stays in the city hits money, buys the latest ride, it’s his first ever car, he learns to drive in one month then decides to visit mama to show her he has made money. He drives from Lagos to Enugu, enjoy a few days with family, he doesn’t service the car considering the distance, he learnt to drive barely a month ago, accident, he dies, VILLAGE PEOPLE.

There’s a scenario I would’ve love to use but I don’t want my uncles children to come across it now and feel bad.

Bottom line is, there’re even more wicked souls in Lagos and big cities than there’re in your village.

Live right
Baba successfully drive that car to the village without having any form of accident, so why on earth would he have an accident when driving back to lag
