Re: "Village People" Fact Or Myth? by Aarenasbaba(m): 3:39pm On May 04, 2021
Why not try and go to village first and update us later what happened there

Meanwhile the truth is this, some village possess evil while some doesn't. I have visited my mother village times without number and yet nothing like bad luck has happened afterwards. My father village now is now a town. Development has gotten there, hospitals , schools, churches, mosques, hotels and others are there. Now my brother is building his own building there and he hasn't encountered bad luck afterwards

Okoro was a successful businessman with strings of shops all over Alaba market. He has houses and cars to his name.
He decides to visit his hometown and in doing so, offers monetary and kind gifts to some of his kinsmen, according to his magnanimity. Few months afterwards, his business begins to crumble and he is finally reduced to a pauper...after selling all his properties ofcourse. undecided
You may have seen the above story played several times in our nollywood movies but I want to ask; are they real? Do these "village People" have the power to take away our sources of joy? If yes, who gave them these powers and why can't these powers be wielded to turn their own lives to good fortunes.

The reason for my post is this: I'm about to visit my hometown and would likely throw a party and render help to some of my folks because I haven't been home for some years now. But my girlfriend strongly opposes this. She says African villages are full of evil people.
I don't agree with her. I'm a scientist and I believe people who crumble in their businesses may have made bad decisions and this has nothing to do with village people. My father always told me to focus and work hard. They are the keys to success. He doesn't even believe in all these spiritualisms flying around. And he has also been living in the village most of his life!
Furthermore, take a look at the Western world. They don't believe in village People. Maybe that's why they are able to make economic advancements.

What's your take? Fellow Nairalandis.
i dont believe in village people. i go to the village twice every year and i am still doing very very well.
but i witnessed one village people things with my 2 eyes that i will never forget.
during abacha, there was an igbo military man. a minister that I was course mate with his daughter. if u see the girl. correct girl. the family went home duing christmas and the man was given a traditional title. and they came back and brought the girl back to school. MENTAL. the girl started behaving like a mad woman. i asked her one day what the problem was, and in her unstable condition, she told me that they did her something when she went for xmas. as the school couldnt manage her, they called her parents to come and carry her and they came. the mum was weeping, the army man bone face, feeling so sad.
good thing, they flew her abroad. i saw her sometime ago in abuja, she was much better. could converse normally, but she refused to give me her phone number, my former bestie o.

Jus invite some of ur uncles/pals based in the village and narrate dis ur plans to them and see their response. Wen U get to the village beta use ur head and keep ur plans to urself. U can go ahead with the plans afta U return from the village

And where did I mention running away from the village?? I visit my village atleast twice every year and I can authoritatively tell U the threat posed by "Village people" is very real. From dishing out mysterious illnesses like swelling of the legs to mysterious rings around the waistline or extreme cases stroke, their bags are neva empty of fetishism threats. I thought I had heard it all until I went for a wedding somewhere and heard about how "Pins" are mysteriously sent to people. YEA U HEARD RIGHT, PINS!!!
yea the one of spiritual pin is really because i have stayed in Ekwulobia in aguata local govt of Anambra state, its common there but i never believed that it would enter me throughout my stayed there until i left the town, one thing i believe in these life is that we should not look down on our faith because faith leads us in everything we do.

Those who are castigating their village, should realize that in every so called town was once a village. Shame that you developed another people's village.
Witch covens, demons worshippers exists in townships, why are dead or mutilated bodies found in many cities, rarely non in villages.
Your village people do not need your money or bread, or hot or cold drink, nature want you to give back to your community.
Sink a borehole, that's what your community need.
Set up a phone charging centre in your community that's what they need.
Build a meeting hall or health center that's what your community need.
Widen your village road, that is what your community need.
Erect solar street light along your village road, that's what they need.
Give back to your community, especially if you are born in your village, you first steps was was taken in your village, when you started to crawl, you ate your village sand, you poo on your village earth. Go home and give back to your village.
Learn a lesson, don't mind the demon induced script of nollywood or any other.
I travel to my village 6 times or more in a year to see my Mom, I slept with my windows open. Because I had and will always give back to my community. When you come home your kinsmen will call you a big son above sons.

It's all about your belief bro...If in your heart of hearts you believe someone will hurt you so shall it be. Most people go to village and come back to the city facing one challenges or the other because somewhere in their subconscious mind it is registered that evil will befall them after village visit. My point It's all in your head

White people do juju, they join cults like freemasonry where they practice black magic

You must do something in Nigeria to be free from poverty and if your ori allows it because we a have our destiny.some people black juju can't work for them but give them white juju and it would work

People that don't need juju are the likes of dj cuppy her papa Don do the juju for her already

Juju is not just black magic, even cele Church day use juju

Learn bro learn

Lol, look at this guy.
You see why I said it's poverty mentality that's affecting most of you guys?
In your little mind, one can only be successful through the belief of juju. Let me ask you, how much have you made so far? Are you the richest in your community, state or country?
You avoided my question and you're talking about DJ Cuppy's dad doing juju as if you know them personally, or did Otedola tell you that on whatsapp?
Answer my questions logically and stop deviating.
With all of Nigeria's juju, we lack the most basic things available in countries that don't Harbour such beliefs as ours.
What tangible thing can your juju do?
You're telling me to learn. grin
You that's learned, can't use your knowledge to improve the lives of those around you?Abeg.

a big fool will always remain a fool... UTI are caused by E.coli, saprophyticus, Proteus species, Klebsiella species, Enterococcus faecalis, other Enterobacteriaceae, and yeast. in STD the Microorganisms implicated are Bacteria (gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia)
Parasites (trichomoniasis)
Viruses (human papillomavirus, genital herpes, HIV ). I guess have given you enough knowledge than you've ever attained in your miserable existence.

This is the reason why rich people can't show people like you the way because you don't have any faith

You must be a joker if you think everyone in Nigeria does not do juju a yoruba man like otedola for that matter

I swear e go tay before poverty leave you

Dear OP,

Listen to me; there are forces that control the affairs of men in this world. Don't doubt this. The world is more spiritual than physical. Whatever you see manifest in the physical had already been orchestrated in the spiritual realm.

This knowledge I am sharing with you is not about 'science', or claiming to be well read. Trust me, I am a very enlightened person academically and otherwise yet I don't stop in my quest for knowledge. I have sat with aged people and listen to them.

Most people you see walking around are aligned with one of these powers. Woe unto you if you live 'casually' with a lukewarm attitude towards things. Them go get you down one time.

You can't be in the middle. You must be either HOT or COLD. Even the Bible said it. So you should either align yourself STRONGLY with God, or the forces of the dark world. You only know yourself, you don't know Dangote, Elumelu or others you mentioned.

The world is more sophisticated than most of you think. I learned a lot of things when my Dad died.

If you want, listen. But don't make the mistake of thinking things just happen. There are forces controlling this world. Choose one of these forces and hold unto it.

#Obrigado

Other countries and nationals are forging ahead in science, technology, etc and when there's a failure or mishap, they learn from it and keep moving. While most Nigerians are focused on village people and other primitive and superstitious stuffs.
