Different government agencies are still recruiting from the clans of "The chosen ones", clandestinely, inspite of a much taunted embargo on federal employment. This is a federal government with numerous duplicated agencies. You have the police investigating units for instance, the ICPC and The EFCC, all doing same job... A federal government with numerous unneeded workers. A federal government that borrows to pay salaries! It's just crazy! The main reason why recurrent expenditures are about suffocating government finances is because of the "come and chop" mentality of those in power. The idea that government salaried positions are there for political hirelings, ethnic henchmen and cronies alike. The tendency to use spurious employment methods to find "spaces" for the boys who helped out during different rigged elections.... Unless an altruistic attempt is made to reorganize the federal agencies and recruitment methods, the civil service will continue to be responsible for unnecessary waste in the system. Next is the utter atrocities going on in the solid minerals sector.. 25 Likes 4 Shares |

All it needs is one incident to trigger the incoming chaos. Imagine government is broke, Inflation is already high insecurity in virtually every aspect of the country I can't even imagine the level of chaos it would be. At times I wonder if Buhari himself wants the country to disintegrate and is purposely sabotaging everything because even a fool is not this incompetent. 31 Likes 3 Shares |

No doubt, Buhari is a colossal failure. It has never been this bad. He has performed far far below par in all areas of government. All indicators seems to be going in the negative reverse for the country. The infrastructure Ameachi and Fashola are stubbornly driving runs on borrowed funds, which we will pay and are already paying dearly for. How most Nigerians saw a messiah in this man still remains a misery. 16 Likes |

FG should Merge Agencies with immediate effects, to save our darling country lots of billionsbeing wasted (it's overdue) and leave Civil Servants salaries alone..... Okay? HOW NIGERIA CAN PAY MINIMUM WAGE COMFORTABLY.......... 1. Abolish SECURITY VOTE in NIGERIA. Nigeria will pay N45,000 minimum wage comfortably. 2. a) Abolish CONSTITUENCY PROJECT FUNDS b) Reduce number of ADVISERS to SENATE PRES(2), HOUSE SPEAKER(2), GOVs(4), PRESIDENT(5), VP(2) c) Reduce current ALL Political Office Holders PAY CHEQUES by 51.5%, without exception d) Do away with special remuneration to POLITICAL ADVISERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS e.g; Purchase of Private Vehicles, Houses, granting Govt paid Vacations, paying for 1st & Business Class Transportations, etc, etc... e) Abolish payment of OVERSEAS MEDICAL BILLS for Political Office Holders. f) Eliminate PRIVATE PRACTICE in public workforce g) Eliminate participation of Public Workforce in Partisan Politics. h) Institute EMPLOYMENT BY MERIT, and eliminate UNDEREMPLOYMENT. i) Review and eliminate allocation of Govt paid POLITICAL AIDES & SUPPORT STAFF to Political Office Holders. With (1) + (2) Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N65,000 comfortably 3. Move Nigeria MORE to Private Sector Driven Economy a) Privatise ALL of Federal Govt PARASTATALS & reduce Federal Direct Funded AGENCIES to 68% of the present. b) Privatise ALL of STATE Govt PARASTATALS & reduce State Direct Funded AGENCIES to 19% of the present. c) Reduce current DIRECT LABOUR JOB participation by 49% d) Encourage more Working Hours until Nigeria economic stabilizes e) Discourage UNIONISM in Public Workforce With (1) + (2) + (3), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N101,500 comfortably. 4) Institute DEATH PENALTY to proven THEFT OF PUBLIC FUNDS no matter how little, and LIFE Jail Sentences for COLLABORATORS. With (1) + (2) + (3) & (4), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N203,500 comfortably.
